We have sent our I-485 (AOS) w/I-765 (EAD) & I-131 (Travel) and we got a notice for each on November 25, 2008. Now we waited for our biometrics appointments, and since we still haven't gotten one yet. Today is February 18, 2009, so it has almost been THREE MONTHS now that we haven't got our Biometrics. I called USCIS and they told us to wait until February 21 and we still havent got our biometric letter yet give them a call again. So I called today and then they tell me that I have to wait for 6 months and they are sorry for the wrong information given to us. I am really confused and lost! Just dont really know what to do, I feel so very Helppless! Im getting so lonely and depressed, I need to work as soon as possible.

Please any advice!! Help please!

Thannk you very much VJ Family!

INFO PASS

Talk so someone in person, perhaps they will do them for you at the appointment. I suspect the letter(s) were lost in the mail.

Confirm that USCIS has a correct mailing address.

I seem to be sailing the same ship. No Biometrics so far. Its been more than a month since I sent out my AOS documents. The NOA dates 01/02/09. I called USCIS and they said, i shouldnt worry and will receive Biometrics within the months span. Dont want to miss out on the biometrics appointment and get my case messed up due to postal errors. My address is correct. Would Placing a service request help, when I call again. Dont the operators have any info about cases or whether letters have been dispatched.

Bio letters get mailed out of the ASC having jurisdiction over place of residence, ASC workload can varry.

In your case, I would wait a little longer. You might get your appointment letter any day now.

As for the OP, I would schedule the INFOPASS appointment to find out what's going on.
