Filling for I-129F for K3 Questions about B.17 & B.18

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. Please help me out here. I am filling I-129F for my spouse (k3).

In the I-129F instructions it states that I need to say N/A for question B.17 and B18.

Eventhough I can answer these question should I answer just N/A?

Question B.17 is about if my fiance(spouse) is related to me such as cousin or any other relationship. To me she is not related so I can easily answer no

Question B.18 is about if I have met with my fiance or how we got engaged. To me I can explain that I talked to her over the phone and this is an arrange marriage. I also went to Pakistan to get married. etc.

So please help should I just leave these question as N/A.

Can somebody also explain is I-129F (k3) should be filed where marriage took place(Pakistan) or I can file it from USA.

N/A is fine.

That question is geared toward the K-1 visa. It is to explain that you have met your fiance. You guys are married and therfore do not have to explain this. make sense?

We followed the instructions and marked "n/a" and had no problems and got approved

I just saw your second question. Are you asking if you file it with the USCIS? or if it matters where you mail it from?

It will be adjudicated wherever your 130 is currently.

I marked N/A for 17 and 18. And your I-129F gets filed where your I-130 is currently being processed.

You'd be far better off leaving all questions blank and simply not filing the I-129F for a spouse. It will more likely delay your reunion with your spouse and may cost you a lot more money. Do read the extensive discussions on the subject that occur at least weekly in this forum.

If you do chose to file the petition, trust the guides here. Those questions are not applicable to a spouse.
