Good morning everybody! I haven't experienced my farm yet buy I am hearing some hype from you all now I am nosy. I will have to look into it tonight. I want some baby chics and horsies, do they have those on there?

Kiddos are better today, thank goodness. They get kind of grouchy and wild when they are sick.

Tasha, yes they have chicks, horses, goats and cows. The chicks are teeny and the way they move around is too cute. I have the black, brown and white chicks but my favorites are the white ones. I pester my co-worker here to send me chicks. :) OMG I'm such a friggin dork.

Maybe I can't see My Farm because no one has sent me anything yet. I did sent you a sheep dog Moody. Will you send me something and see if that opens up my farm. I did what Jackie said, but it's not showing up with the other applications.

I'm so irritated! :ranting: I was working out to a new dvd and it froze up halfway through!! :ranting: I finally got it out of the dvd player and tried to play it on the computer so I could finish and it won't play!!! Dagnabit! I'm going to try once more on my laptop at work to see if it will play. If not, it's going back to the store! :protest:

I NEED money...so I can buy a new chicken coop. I have every square pixel of my 1st chicken coop fulllll. I like the white chicks because they make great "dots" in my arabic name (which I spelled out in coconut trees)...

I prefer the grey ones the most though.

Ok so I need some advice. This isn't MENA related. Here's the poop...

I'm adopted. I met my birth mother and her family about 10 yrs ago. I know my birth father's name but wasn't completely sure of the spelling of his last name. It's a common last name but since his family is Belgian, it's possible that it's spelled differently than how most ppl spell it (Pieters vs. Peters). So for the past 10 yrs I haven't thought too much about finding my father other than occasionally looking his name up in the phone book. There are like 4 men with the same name in our local phone book. I was told which city he lived in but that was years ago. Anways I was talking with the mister the other night and he encouraged me to try looking for him again. So yesterday I looked up his name on 411.com. Since you can see an age on that site I figured it would help narrow things down. So I found a listing with his name (including correct middle initial), his age, last known city and the best part...his name had an alternate spelling of Pieters.

Ok so here are my questions:

Would you send a letter?

Would you call?

Would you do nothing?

TIA for any advice.

Happy Hump day MENA (F)

Wow...I had a farm...I killed everything. :( FB is blocked at work and I think I just didn't pay attention at night when I got home...ADD :P Stumble, VJ or something else always came up.

Zain is on a kick now too Jess...he loves getting up two times a night just to 'check' if I am listening and around. GRRR. I go in, he sees me, cuddles and goes back to sleep. But its kicking my butt at work...I'm up at 2am and typically 5am w/ him then he's bright eyed and ready to play at 8am while I'm getting ready for work! I hope this little habit ends soon...I'm thinking to not pay attention to him when he's whining but then it turns into a cry and he wakes up Nour! You can't win! :P

Have a good day everyone. (F)

I think if you took the time to look him up online and found him...it was for a reason. So go ahead, reach out. If you are not good with the phone, I suggest a letter and let him be the one that calls you. Best of luck!! (F)

I can't see the farm stuff online here at work but it kind of sounds like the webkinz program right? You feed them and give them a place to stay? Buy them things...we sound like kids! LOL!

I think I would write the letter and let him contact you. That way the door is open if he wants to or not. Can you send it where you know that he got it? Like a signature or something? Otherwise you may never know that he received it. That's the only thing with a letter if you don't get a response you may never know if he actually got it. I wish you the best with it and I hope that it turns out well for you.

Thank you, Tasha and Annie, for the great advice. I think I will write a letter that way the ball is in his court plus it can be ignored if this man I located isn't my father. I feel it would be too awkward to call. Plus what if his wife or kids answer and they don't know about me? Awkward!
