Hi,

I sent the DS-3032 paper copy by mail. Although they did get the e-mail, I want to make sure the hard copy got there too. Tracking number not found. Do I track the number from the Portsmouth, NH post office or something?

Also, does my husband put "None" for my SS and Alien numbers instead of "N/A"?

If the choice of agent has been accepted I would not worry at all about the hard copy. It doesn't matter at this point.

Where on the DS230 are you referring to for the SS / A#?

On the DS-230 for the SSN put N/A (as you don't have one yet). For the A number, that is listed on your NOA2 for your I-130, your husband should list that number.

Oh, okay. I thought "None" would be the correct answer.

I was referring to Alien Registration Number. Isn't an ARN only for people in the US, or also for people intending to immigrate to the US? Will I eventually get one? I mean, is it better to say "N/A" as in my conditions don't quality me for it, or "None" as in I don't have one now but I will in the future?

None is the correct answer for the SS questions. Others have posted a RFE for using N/A as a response to a question. It was suggested to say either none or unknown for the answer instead if it doesn't apply or is not known.
