I want to thank everyone for their kind words and sharing their experiences. Some of your responses truly touched my heart and I appreciate them so much. I know I am not alone, and there are so many of you suffering just as I am. My heart really goes out to those going through the exact same things, and for many, going through them longer than me.

Sometimes I don't even want to share any of this because I know how hard it is and has been for you all. I don't want to come across as looking selfish or saying "feel sorry for me" ... but I just needed to get this out now ... and today things got even worse!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
