It seems that you had a good marriage/relationship with your spouse.

I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Best wishes to you! :)

Thank you.... Yes I had a very wonderful marriage with my husband and I have a good relationship with his family, until now.

hi, i had the same case as u. my husband died like 2 years ago, we dont have that much documents but we have a daughter. i filed I-751, last july at vermont, today i got a letter stating that my case has been transferred to califonia. im worried why do they have to transfer it. i'm going crazy right now. and since my husband died, do you think i can still apply for naturalization for a 3 year period or does it have to be 5 years now, since the marriage has been terminated already due to his death?

I read somewhere that there are some I-751 petition transfered to California and they got approved faster. In our case since we are widow and we applied to remove conditions with a waiver, will have to wait 5 years from the date of our initial GC now to apply for US citizenship.
