Not at all. My parents and family are quite aghast that I live in an appartment, for the first time in my life, instead of a house in a gated community.

My standard of living has decreased a lot.- and I mean, A F#$#@%ING LOT.

It's kind of the same for me too. I have never lived in apartments before and my family even though doesn't say something but has expressed their concerns about my way of living right now.

Not everyone coming from a third world country sees US as land of oppurtunity. I had a good management job back in India but out here most probably I will have to start with flipping burgers or a telemarketer, I am sure in a few years time things will improve for me and hubster but for now my living conditions have decreased drastically compared to India.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

To Jayde:

Australia like America has been built with the help of immigrants and encourages the different nationalities to join and become part of the Australian way of life, although the streets are not paved with gold there are lots of opportunities there. The nation has had immigrants from all over the world and still has programs to encourage immigration from many different cultures. Of course it has its share of uncomfortable truths, but it remains (especially Queensland) great one day, perfect the next.

And you don't have millions of illegal aliens(plus anchor babies) . If Australia, Philippines, and other Asian countries just divided with borders. I'm certain you gonna have million of illegal aliens  then you your country would face similar problem as USA.
