I got the NOA 1 and our number. I know it's a simple step, but it gives me peace of mind knowing we are in the system. I provided everything they asked for so I can not imagine any RFE. So I am waiting on my NOA 2. Several months of impatient waiting.

The funny thing is. I called on sunday to see if the Money Order, I sent, was cashed and it was not. Yet we are in the system and the NOA says payment received. Go figure! I guess since a money order is as good as cash anyway maybe they know it will clear so they don't rush it.

Patience! Yes we are doing the best we can. It is difficult at times. But we are looking forward to the future. I wish I could tell her things that would help with her patience. I'm glad this place is here. I read stuff all the time and feel prepared to do this correctly.
