Hi all,

Thanks Marie for reaching out to me! I don't know what Part 13 is, guess I missed 1-12, but how 'bout a quick intro of myself....

I'm Sam, and just married my Rasta man, Talbert, on Jan. 19th. Seemed to take forever to get the marriage cert, but it finally arrived last week and our 130 was delivered to the lockbox. From what I've been reading, now the waiting and anxiety begin! It'll be great to have others around who totally relate to this experience. Is anyone out there in the Phoenix, AZ area???

I'm already nervous, knowing we have circumstances that in the eye of immigration is sure to look suspect. We can only have faith in our love and hope it comes through in the paper work.

Question for ya... how do you guys get the cute little counters and timelines in your signatures>>

Well, I think I'll go through some of this thread and see if I can get caught up on parts 1-12. :D

Sam

Hi Sam...OMG I haven't heard the name "Talbert" in 29 years. That's my cousins's name, but I haven't talked to him in many years. Talbert is his government name but we calling him "Kalli"...too funny...anyhow, welcome to VJ

LMAO Philly, of all things to bring!

Welcome Covergirl - I would suggest that you seek out Jamaica Jewel - she's not on here, but she posts on Negril.com - she's an American who married a Jamaican and they opened a guest house in Duncan's Bay - she might have some good insights for you.

Here is her website:

Sus;

lol girl, why do I know that house. I'll hit you up later, I may have told you that in the past.

Hello all,

I've been reading all of your posts for a while and feel guilty for not introducing myself. So here it goes..

My name is Brooke and I live in Orlando, FL. I applied for a K-1 last December.

You all are so helpful and I love how everyone is there for each other.

Brooke

Welcome Brooke!

I made a mistake on my tax return and it was corrected to the tune of $1200 more towards my refund...thank you Jesus, I so needed that money!
