No one answered my question yet... did you all send your original married certificate or a copy?

I didn't feel too much different when I got married either--not until I changed my name on all my info (SS cards, license, bank stuff, pay check stubs, etc) And someone would say, "Mrs. Palmer" this or that... I used to be like "Who in the sam heezy are they talking to? ---oh me! :lol: Are you talking about for AOS? Is there a particular form name?

I am not sure if I am ready to change my name plus my SO lol.... I guess i should write my husband...........(lol) last name is spell wrong on all his document and when he was in JA and tried to change it he said they send his BC back with the same spelling, its pronounce the same just spelled wrong and he spelled it right on his daughter's BC so we either have to change his or hers so we can all have one spelling... so I am waiting for him to figure out that one before I make up my mind!

The bottle of NYQUIL just winked at me, so I'm about to drink a shot class of it. I have the chills and I sound like Barry White one second then Mickey Mouse the next, my son keeps asking me if he needs to drive me to the hospital or should he call the bumblelance.

I feel like relocating and I'm seriously thinking about CT, AZ, NC or TX I did FL in the past, but I took a huge pay cut, don't want to go that route again.

it's like I can make any stride forward, and this is not like me... I just got a promo on my job today, i should be happy right, no I'm focusing on this visa. I call joel in the middle of the day and goes off on him about the visa, he just shuts down. I didn't even celebrate my fathers b-day yesterday, and he called me and asked what's wrong with me. This is not like me....

I'm use to enjoying and living life.

Congratulations on the promotion!!! And girl... I definitely feel you on what you're saying! I sometimes feel that this is the hardest thing I have ever endured. But don't give up... your time to enjoy and live your life is right around the corner!!

Roger keeps telling me one day he will come and he won't tell me.. i tell him.. nuh try it! cuz there is no telling what i am doing any given time or day, he'll be at the airport looking crazy, wondering why he didn't tell me 1st LOL..

but maybe he will do like ur hubby and call my good friend to pick him up LOL.. then he will look crazy standing outside my door while i try and clean LOL

I feel you on that though... but it's been a few months that I have started keeping my house cleaner than normal, kind of like helping me get into the habit that I am the wife and things need to be in tip-top shape. I've gotten better. My house has never been dirty, but my room tends to get junky cuz I try clothes on and leave them where ever I drop them... and don't let me start on when I come home and just undress, lol.

But yeah... I do appreciate the fact that he wants to surprise me but the anticipation is killing me. But I have come to realize that I've waited almost 2 years... a few more days won't hurt. I probably won't go to the grill again til hubby gets here... SO YOU WILL DEFINITELY HAVE TO GO THEN TOO!!!

As for me, I always knew I would hyphenate. I even told my hubby, if we should ever get divorced, I'm KEEPING his last name cuz I worked for it for almost 2 years to get it here, LOL! He just laughed. I wasn't playing though.... I'm totally doing the whole Tina Turner thing!!
