Culture finally had the embassy find their DS230

Ells is approved

Several interviews coming up this month

Honey gets back from JA today and it's her bday

I leave for JA Saturday, Jamerican leaves the 10th

Lawny and Kimmy box as usual

I love this summary..wish there was one to start every day on here.

Did anyone catch Mavodo on the Rippin the Runway show last night. He was singing you so Special and had all the big beautiful women walking the runway. I was loving it.

OMG Jawi turned me on to that song. And I can do it. At least in my mind I'm doing it right.

LMAO... My 12 year old nephew told me about it. I was like THE WHAT??? You see the big girl with the gold swimsuit? She wanted to drop it like it's hot for forreal... lol

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Island, what are you going to NYC for? Sounds fun (but cold?)!

Tourist trip - lol. My best friend and I are taking a bus trip down - up here in the bush a bus trip to NYC is big business!

Hey, I live IN San Francisco and that still sounds fun to me! I've never been to NYC but I intend to one day....AND going to do ALL the touristy stuff. I'd love to go around Christmas and ice skate at Rockefeller Center.

You should Leah - there's nothing like it. I love to go to the city and then I love to leave! I'm hoping to take my kids down this summer - tons of museums and I have never been to the statute! I'm a bad New Yorker....

Oh yeah! I forgot about the statue! I'm gonna do THAT too! The one and only time I had a flight going in to JFK, I was scanning the skyline as we approached, desperately looking for the statue....it was probably no where close to where I had a view. :huh:

Probably did tell her last week...I think she started the celebration early....by buying her ticket to JA! I think her actual b-day is today or the next day.

Yeah we all did - cuz she wasn't going to be home for her b-day. Today's the real b-day though. Hope she celebrated in grandor!

No, he is bored, so I am trying to filed his AOS this week so hopefully he gets his working permit back quickly..

For those who filed AOS did you include the original marriage certificate or a copy?

~9/8/08 - I-129F sent VSC

~9/17/08 - NOA1 received[/color]

~9/22/08 - I29F approved

~9/26/08 - NOA 2 received

~10-01-08 - NVC processed petition

~10-03-08 - Packet 3 mailed

~10-15-08 - Packet 3 dropped off at embassy

~11-21-08 - Interview!

~11-21-2008- VISA APPROVED!!!

~12-9-08 - arrived-POE JFK

married on ~2-27-09-

I'm riding the merry go round. How are things down there? Going to be in NYC on the 21st and 22nd!

Well, stay on and hold on tight... Things are going good here. I need to send off Ray's AOS, but he needs a Vericella shot and they want me to pay $100. Ugh! So, I'm trying to see if our insurance will cover it, but they are taking to long to get back with me. Idiots...

Why does he need that shot, he didn't get it when he went for his medical?

Hey Rox! I was just checking the uscis website & I saw this early yesterday afternoon! I was excited---but vexed because I never got (and still haven't received) the e-mail notification that it had been "touched". How are you doing sweetie?

Heyyyy Shrewdie! How is life w/ the hubby?! I might have missed this, but where was your POE and how did it go? Did they ask him a bunch of questions? I can't wait to finally get to wake up to my baby everyday! :star:
