Ells, you are a Negrilite, lol - Did you ever go to XXX or Scrub a Dub? Think of that on steroids, complete with a live midget show! Once at Shades was enough for me, too!

Okay, I've been to Scrub a Dub so I have an idea. But ON STEROIDS?? That much more insane?? Where is Shades? Who knows, it might just be something I have to see once too!

Ells, I don't know if you want to go to Shades. The first time I went there with a ton of friends and cousins we thought it was dancehall night, boy did we make a mistake, I had to walk out. All I remember my cousin saying was is his hood suppose to look like dat...his thing was shaped like the letter S.

Sus, I'm not joking it was shaped like an S then the other dude his thing was almost to his knee it was hiting him mid thigh and he was just slapping the woman in her face with it...

Ells, the shows in Kingston are worse.

 That's just WRONG but it still makes me laugh! Sounds like an 'adult' circus!

Good lawd what can they possibly do in Kingston that's worse? I'm thinking it must be like live sex shows or something cause that's about as bad as I can think that it could get.

Yes, that's what they are. I mean, I've seen some crazy things in Negril during spring break, but what I saw in Ochi that night topped them all. I don't do spring break in Jamaica no more, it's gotten out of hand...especially in Negril.

Stupid ?. But stepdaughter is added as a dependant and she is coming too. She is 6. How is she interviewed?

I don't know if they'll interview her. She may be required to attend the interview, but that may be all.

Do I have to pay the visa fee for $131 for her too?

I'm not sure 1luv, I have to call my friend in Canada he was here last month. I'm thinking the answer is yes, because I remember him fussing about how much he had to pay for the kids visas too.

I've been up 4 hours and I am still groggy. God, I wish I drank coffee. Too much of a party last night.

Did you go to the parade downtown last night?

No. I went to Mardi Gras Saturday night. OMFG....way too cold. Ended up at Al Hrbosky's and then Hot Shots in S. County.

Last night, we had a party at my Church's rectory. Food, music and way too many hurricanes.

Did you do any festivities?

Yea, he was really disappointed with it, cause I think they took quite awhile to cook. Next time we decide to make them I will def check the dates.

Oh did I tell ya that we attempted to make beef patties??? Ha that was an experience to say the least.....

The ALWAYS take really long to cook.

Temporary Visitors to the U.S.

International visitors add greatly to our nation's cultural, education and economic life. We continue the proud tradition of welcoming visitors to the United States, with secure borders and open doors.

Most Canadian citizens and many citizens from Visa Waiver Program countries can come to the U.S. without a visa if they meet certain requirements. Visa waiver travelers from ALL 27 Visa Waiver Program countries must present a machine-readable passport at the U.S. port of entry to enter the U.S. without a visa, otherwise a U.S. visa is required. See important information about the 10/26/05 digital photograph and 10/26/06 e-passport requirements for VWP travelers. Learn more. Other foreign citizens will need a nonimmigrant visa.

Nonimmigrant visas are for international travelers, (citizens of other countries), coming to the U.S. temporarily. This visa allows you to travel to a U.S. port-of-entry (airport, for example) and request permission of the Department of Homeland Security immigration inspector to enter the U.S. A visa does not guarantee entry into the United States.

International travelers come to the U.S. for a wide variety of reasons, including tourism, business, medical treatment and certain types of temporary work. The type of visa needed is defined by immigration law, and relates to the principal purpose of your travel. For an overview of the types of nonimmigrant visas available under immigration law, please see Nonimmigrant Visa Classifications on the USCIS website. The Consular Officer at your embassy or consulate will decide what kind of visa you need, when you apply.

Advance planning can smooth the visa application process for you.

Apply for your Visa well in advance of your travel! Important steps to remember:

1 - Review your visa status, and find out if you need a U.S. visa or a renewal.

2 - Review the visa wait times information for interview appointments and visa processing at each embassy and consular section worldwide available on our website at Visa Wait Times. Visit the embassy or consular section website where you will apply for your visa to find out how to schedule an interview appointment, pay fees and any other instructions.

3 - Plan on an interview at the embassy or consulate, which is required for most visa applicants. As part of the visa interview, quick inkless fingerprint scans should be expected. Some visa applications require additional administrative processing, which requires some additional time. Applicants are advised when they apply.

See the links on the left for more information about visas required for temporary visitors to the U.S.

Okay here's a question that came up before with me and my SO right before my daughter was born. And last night he asked me again what we should do:

What are the advantages/disadvantages to having a baby abroad when one parent is a US citizen? Are there any positive parts because I am just thinking of the down-side. Like getting the BC, medical treatment I'll receive in Jamaica, etc.

Okay hopefully I'll get some feedback because I have to go our Cultural celebration. Be back afterwards......

Do you know anything about Jamaican hospitals? I wouldn't ever advise going to a JA hospital unless absolutely necessary.

Hey Dillon.....you see the signs all over the place? Can't remember if you own your house or not; but you can rent it out for the all star game like they did for the innaguration in D.C. I hear the player's families and big wigs are looking for places to stay and all the hotels are full. Something to think about. Big $$$$$

Ya I saw that on the news last night. I am sure they would want something closer to downtown rather than UCity though.

No festivities for me this past weekend for Mardi Gras.

He Honey I saw that too,

He had to pay the fine because he had an ORANGE in the bag. She didn't care about the sandwich. I see it happen all the time. I declare everything I'll let them take what they want. Most of the time they don't bother me. When Marcel and I came up June last year I had 1 dozen small breadfruit, frozen pinneapple slices, sliced pepper in vinegar, I had shelled guineup in water, 6 bottle of honey and I had about 3 dozen fry fish. They didn't even search us, but I put everything on the paper. I also had a lot of bush tea. I always bring back the same things with me...better to declare it than get caught with it...I think they can charge you up to $15,000...
