DaDa - That is sooo cute. Tyrah - girl? or boy? My niece is name Tyra.

Tyrah's a girl.. I named her after Tyra Banks. I love Tyra but I just added a h to the end.. Why I don't know I just did..lol

Funny that you say that...about Tyra Banks. Why they were in the dr's office waiting to be called and the nurse called Tyra Banks :wacko::wow: my "sis-by-child" (not married to brother) was like her name is not Tyra Banks.

Although, she loves to take pictures. She's a cutie pie.

Oh and her brother name is Tyrese.

I need ur input. My daughter called my hubby by his first name. Back in Jamaica u never call a person older than u by their first name. I dont know what to tell my daughter to call him?

I totally feel you on that one. My grandmother will wake up from her grave and hit me if I called anyone older than me by their first name. You can create a name or derivative of it. An example is Papa, poppy, dada, etc. Make up something! Daddy (insert name here). Keep us updated.

Hey Lovesponge....quick question for you.....did your SO just drop off his DS-230?? And I remember someone else was asking but how were you able to get an interview date even before he dropped that off?

And finally, I wrote the embassy last Friday asking them to confirm that they received my SOs DS-230 & if we can get an interview date and still no reply....is it time for me to write again and put '2nd request'??

Hi Ells. Are you trying both addresses? Consularkingst <consularkingst@state.gov>,

"Kingston, IVinfo" <kingstonivinfo@state.gov> The consular addresses got me the quickest response. Good Luck!

Wow I know what you mean. My soon to be ex hubby and I don't have twins in our family either but I got hit with them. I really think its something in the water. Twins are becoming so common now a day. I was three months when I found out.

I was still having my monthy so I didn’t even think I was prego until I went to my yearly and they did the test and told me I was prego...

I'm confused. How were you still having your monthly if you were pregnant? That's a scary thought!

Ladies who is it that rents out the apts in Negril?? I think she told me a VJer just stayed at one? I have a friend going to Negril and looking for somewhere to stay. Her friend just lost his grnadmudda and we think the wake might be next week so with all the family coming to the house she feels uncomfortable about staying there. I told her it would give her chance to meet his family but she doesn’t agree but doesn’t really have the money for a hotel and then I remembered someone was chatting bout der apt dey rent out...

Jai. I rented from her when I was in Negril last month. Her name on here is JOURNEE1125 .

Hi Everyone! Hope all is well with you all.

Here is the USCIS poverty guideline chart for 2008 for those who are filing for the AOS etc.

Family of 1

100 % - $10,400

125% - $13,000

Family of 2

100% - $14,000

125% - $17,500

Family of 3

100% - $17,600

125% - $22,000

Family of 4

100% - $22,200

125% - $26,500

Family of 5

100% - $24,800

125% - $31,000

Family of 6

100% - $28,400

100% - $35,500

Family of 7

100% - $32,000

125% - $40,000

Family of 8

100% - $35,600

125% - $44,500

For family units with more than 8 members, add $4,500 per family member to meet 125% of the poverty guideline. Hawaii and Alaska are a bit different and about $2,000. higher per person.

Sus - when do you find out about the job you interviewed for?

Who knows - it was all a big rush, now it's been a week and I haven't heard jack - On a good note, I heard today that they are putting a freeze on filling positions with external candidates, so that strengthens my position- but today I was ready to quit! I swear, people were losing their minds at my job - who was blaming who for what, who was in tears, who was passing the buck - it was chaos!

Sus - I hope you are feeling better. Are you over your cough?

Thanks, SG - still have the cough, unfortunately - I gave in and started taking the prednisone, which I didn't want to take - but it seems to be clearing up -

Sus you are too cute, where do you gets those smileys from?

Cho, ooman - can't you read further? If I told you I would have to hunter.gif
