I'm going to check it out. We don't have windows in our suite

Dillon - enjoy your last weekend being a free woman

Thanks Shemmy! I will be cleaning away and I am debating if I am going to go to my friends bachelorette party!

Did your Brother-In-Law get here?

If you can, go out with your friends. Sounds like fun.

Yes, he is here. Had no problems at POE. Hubby is :D

LOL - at Sus.

Thanks everyone for all the congrats! I truly am sorry for all the people who are still waiting, especially those of you who filed before me. If I could I would trade places with you. It's just not right when someone who filed later gets approved.

That's one thing I've learned.

It's not First in First out at USCIS.

You have to remember not all situations (filings) are alike. I could understand if there was on uniform standard way of filing. The FIFO method would work. hahaha my accounting term first in first out for inventory valuation.

I feel the same way. Everytime I come back from JA and being in a super neat house I come home and try to make my house neat. I've come to realize though that I just have too much junk. It all must go before my SO comes

You and me, both. I was realizing the other day that my one bedroom apt is COMPLETELY full. No spare closet space, drawers, anything. But we'll need to continue living here at least until my lease expires.... so I'm going to have to get rid of the boxes (that I hold just knowing ONE day I'll need), clothes that don't fit (that I keep thinking will one day fit), and other misc junk to make room for Steven.

He seems to think that he will come here with nothing, saying he won't bring his faded clothes from Jamaica. Meanwhile I'm thinking, Does he think he's gonna get an ENTIRE new wardrobe the day he gets here?

Does anyone else plan to buy a new mattress when their SO moves in? I'm thinking to get a new mattress right before Steven arrives so that he'll be the only man to have ever slept on it. I might finally spring for the Tempurpedic that I've wanted since I was young.

JaHoney, I thought peanut butter should be fine in your checked luggage???

There is/was a ban on peanut butter because of the samonilla issues the US was having...it is only certain brands though but if they see that you have it...they will do a seperate search and take forever while they check if your brand is ok.....at least that is what happened last month. Had nothing to do with the liquid issues....

Nat - My husband was just telling the story of his entry into the US last night to his cousin. He had a bag full of cds and dvds and a likkle bag with some clothes and shoes.

That's funny that Steven doesn't want to bring any of his clothes with him. I'm planning on buying a new mattress for when my SO comes, because I only have a full size one right now. I never thought about a new one meaning he will be the only man to have ever slept on it. That's a sweet thought. :star:
