LAwd, the secretaries in my office are all acting special ed today, calling me left and right about other peoples clients, i swear im about to Put KICK ROCKS on my voice mail and make a sign for my door stating the same, so they will leave me alone. Hell im not the mental health guru, I dont care if someone elses client is in the lobby acting a fool, not my issue, i dont care if Mike the A-hole next door isnt at his desk and answering his phone NO I WONT take his CALLS, SHYT.. these folks are working my damn nerves... HELL I DONT KNOW WHERE REBECCA went ( my coworker) NOR do i care!!!!!!

Hey question am I the only looney one or does anyone else love the smell of their clothes when they return. I have a shirt that I have not washed yet since I have been back and that is bcuz it has that Jamaica smell to it. When ever I’m missing de island or mi SO I take it out and smell it… See I told you I have issues…LOL

What! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I just smelled some of the clothes from my trip last week and was like, Ahhh, Jamaica! I definitely notice the Jamaica aroma on my clothes. Even in my satin nightcap that I brought with me. Not sure if I'll not wash a shirt, though.... but I may recommend that to Steven when he moves here: to keep one article of clothing with the Jamaica Aroma for homesick times.

I had to take a quick break from VJ cause it was just the constant reminders of this process that was getting 2 me. I'm tired of constantly checking my e-mails for notifications and the uscis website. I've regrouped for now...

Mrs. Palmer. I totally understand. I too am not on VJ much, especially at night, I just try to now let others things take piority in my life.

The other issue is I don't want to be scheduling trips back to JA, and then find out I will need to be back there in a month because I have just been approved.

I have to start finding something to do because Dwayne works nights and weekends. He LOVES working and it seems to have changed him for the better (we were touch and go for a minute). He is more grounded and likes the freedom of his own money, loves packing his lunch, and the boss liking what he does. He calls me now during the day so excited about everything just like it was when he was in Ja.

I was reading the Steve Harvey book this week “Act like a Lady, Think Like a Man”…..very good read. He talks about women confronting the truth and setting standards in the relationship. Anyways, one of the things he said is a man shows love to women in 3 ways: profess, provide and protect.

When I think of our Jamaican husbands coming to a new country I see how difficult the transition is when they leave their job, belongings, and family behind to be with us. They no longer are able to provide which is a big blow to the manhood.

So ladies, hang in there and keep encouraging and praying for them.

LDR is just kicking my rass right about now, and i don't want to be a downer. i guess as long as my life was CHAOTIC w/ the divorce and everything i had a distraction, now w/ everything else going well.. my love situation is being MAGNIFIED...ain't that a blip.. can't never please ppl can you

anyway.. hope everybody's process is SMOOTH.. God's will be done in HIS time and I pray 4 u PATIENCE ladies and gents as well as for me and my baby...

Nat, Thats where my SO is from. There is a place right around the corner from Little Ochi called Bunch a Grape, their fish is so much better
