Philly, let him wear what makes him confortable, he will be stressed out enough with the waiting and wondering what questions they are going to ask of him. Save the linen suit for the celebrating, when the visa has finally arrived in his passport.

Good morning everyone....

I'm Loving the Tatt Philly!!!

It's HOTT!!

I am a tattoo fanatic and am looking to add another one that symbolizes the love that Rick and I share but also want to incorporate Jamacian culture in it. I'm having a hard time coming up with something.

Quana Quana Quana weh yuh dey??? Whooooo boy do I remember these days. It was crazy!!! I thought I lost my mind when I met a man in July for one day just one day and came back home acting like it was my first hit of crack. Whoooo I used to sit up all night and ponder how on earth could I miss someone so bad that I barely knew?? Like how??? Good thing I had Quana to talk to. She just doesn’t know how much of a lifesaver she was for me. See we have a likkle group of six girls and we e-mail each other all day long what's going on in our lives etc.. So I used to e-mail Quana on the side cuz I knew she met someone there also. I was like Quana I think I’ve gone mad I really miss this boy. Quana was missing hers just as much too so we decided to go back together and see them. So we were going to JA together and then all of a sudden hers moved to the Bahamas.. So I was scared do I continue on by myself or cancel the trip. Well after missing him I was like I’m going but I guess I’ll stay in a hotel. So then my SO was like why don’t you just save the money and stay wid me. Huh?? Excuse me?? I don’t know you. So after some coaching I caved in but then I w as worried. I heard so many horror stories about them not having hot water, and sometimes sharing rooms, his bathroom could be outside and then the area he lives in is not the best and ugh the stories. I think I got on my SO nerves so bad he was like you know what Dada stay in a hotel then. I did end up staying with him and let me tell you I think I’ll never want to stay at a resort again but back to the story.. So the trip comes and I pray to God to bring me back home and off I went. When you think about it how crazy was I to go and stay with a man in another country that I only met once. The things we will do. Well till this day that trip was one of the best tips I have ever taken in my entire life!!! LMAO man when I think about how when it was time to go I didn’t want to go. I almost broke my SO’s neck holding on to him so tight and then his eyes were misty and so were mine and I tell you I was a minute away from saying freak it all I’m not going back but then reality hit me and I got my rass on that plane. I cried the WHOLE way and I mean the WHOLE way home. I’m sure the people on the plane thought I was mad in the head… When I arrived back home the pain from missing him was almost unbearable I mean it really hurt. I would come to work all depressed and just acting like I wanted to give up on life. But as time goes on eventually the pain gets a little more bearable and you’ll be o.k. See you’ll have your good days and bad days. Some days you’ll be o.k. and others you’ll be like a three year old ready to have a temper tantrum on the floor kicking and screaming. It helps if you have a supportive friend or family member that doesn’t mind you talking bout him 50 times a day. I know some days I call my SO just to hear his voice. It’s like just the sound of his voice makes everything o.k. Its rough it’s soo very rough so no need in sugar coating it but this too shall past. Just think he soon come!!!

JAENG

As horrible as it sounds, i did NOT want to name my son Tyrone, but it was his dads first child and he wanted him named after him, i kept thinking on a job app when someone saw his name, it was a wrap...LOL... ( i know again that sounds bad, but hey in todays world, its the truth) so when i got preg the second time, i wanted a name that i liked and wouldnt immediatedly pigeonhole him, hence i came up with Tyler and i said if i ever have anymore children, the girl was gonna be Taylor...LMAO!

Morning Ladies, Happy Monday,

Well I am soooooo tired I was up reading Stella!

Jawi I am at the part where Ian is on the plane Dutty Bwoy dat! I love the dichotomy of the TWINS! It's dayum near impossible for me to read at work today I am non stop busy but I will be rushing home because I have to know if Mya is pregnant, and by which Twin :o If Toya is positive and if her Hubby to be is too, and if he was already( hmmmm)? What will Ian do when he gets to Toya and what will happen with Delmar, Mya, Melodee and Travis...............I'm so hooked. Jawi you have a fabulous talent I read a lot of books from Jamaican and West Indian authors and this story is on par if not better than the top sellers in the Caribbean. I am truly enjoying the read. I hope your goal is to publish your works in the future because you definitely have a readership and I can see you on OPRAH. :D So I guess you know which book I am voting for you to finish LOL

Philly - how do you get your hands on Caribbean top sellers? Do you find them on Amazon or something similar?

Sus...That's a nice tatoo.

I'm so scary. Does it hurt?

Sus - KK sound like someone else you know??

DADA,

Well said cause that sounds like me...LOL.. all the way, my solace has been in VJ, when things are rough..LOL

Right JAHoney I agree as well, it has been great to have a community like VJ who all of the members are going through the same exact thing as you! It definitely is a rough journey but so much easier when you have others who are sharing that journey along with you.

Rick with that said fell free to vent when you need and outlet cause we all sure do

You know what's funny before I started posting on VJ Quana would e-mail me like girl there is this girl named JA honey that reminds me of you so much..... I guess she was right and the thing with Tyrone is the same for me. I didn't want to name my son that at all but he was his fathers first male and blah blah blah. I think that is why I call him Tre... and I have noticed that there are a lot of people named Tre from all races and backgrounds so maybe I'll have him put Tre on his apps. ..lol

Shanette - CONGRATS!!!!

JaHoney - I guess a C-section is not so bad. Can you breast feed if you have a C-Section?

DaDa - Have you filed for your SO yet?

RickRoss - Have you started the process yet?

I usually pop in and out of the Yardie thread and never really know where everyone is in the process.

Hey Island

I pick the books up in the Kingston Airport, there is also a bookstore in Halfway Tree. I know that same Bookstore is in Mobay as well, I had a connecting flight and saw it. It's the only one I have ever seen in the airport so you can't miss it's called " Not just Books" LOL . I like how they have the books listen in order of the best sellers.
