Part of me thinks I'm overreacting (as in my initial posting) a lil bit since Auntie Flo was coming to town and I can sometimes get a little emotional. back in NOV my SO gave me his old JA lottery tickets. i in turn gave them to my mother (the gambler), so one day over a family shared phone call, my mother told Ryon, "hey if i win off your numbers - i will share the winnings with you 50/50". this happened back in DEC.

so my mother called me at work to ask me to play her numbers, cool. but i had to fill out the cards again, so i text Ryon, "call me about yo lottery #"

so, i am driving home, phone in my purse on silence from work. about 7PM i grab my purse to send Bri to the gas station for a propel. I got 20 missed calls. I know Ryon is at work and from what i understand he can't get caught talking on the phone. so i ring his phone once and hang up. he calls right back yelling

DID WE WIN THE LOTTERY (pause)(i know that this is a little funny now b/c i am laughing as i type)

i say, naw fool, we lost the numbers, why you calling my phone like you dead or something........

Thanks, Now that I'm married I pray with God's guidance that this is it for me and relationships...really not thinking about hurt..

I will pray for the same thing when I do get married, I never ever want to get divorced. I want us to last forever and ever, unfortunatly things happen and reality kicks in somtimes and thats why there is such a high divorce rate. But I am an optimist so it wont happen to me.

Very good...you have to know u will do all U can for a long lasting HAPPY marriage...divorce rate is wayyy to high in this country..And it's good to be an optimist!

Yeah... I face this sometimes. I take lunch EVERY DAY from 11 to 12 & at my job, we play Hearts every day at lunch. I tell Steven all the time not to call me from 11 to 12 cause my phone stays in the office while I play cards.

Today, I get back to my office after lunch to find 73 (SEVENTY-THREE) missed calls. Not even for an emergency.

Anyway, thanks those who wished me safe travels & a fun trip. I need to go to sleep so I can get up in time to catch this flight.
