Lovesponge, No, sorry no stupid mistakes here sorry..so please don't speak for me. I am not on any issue i'm just trying to make something clear of what i said, and if u see Jawi clarified and I ended it. No need for what u said, i think that was unecessary!

Oh come on dont tell me you have never made any mistakes when it comes to men? I need to be taking classes from you then because I guess you are perfect. Whats your secret?

Ells...to thine self be true. If something makes you uncomfortable, it is up to you to talk it out or change the situation. Telling her how you feel about extra-marital affairs is not judgemental...just your honest feeling. You don't have to judge her situation by saying simply "Look Mabel...I know you feel okay about dating a married man but my person belief system will not let me support you in that. I belief marriage is sacred...xyz and so forth." Then, tell her that you are comfortable talking about any other subject but her trying to fill another woman's shoes. If she decides to end the friendship, then she wasn't a friend from the start...she simply needed a sounding board and someone to make her feel right or cute.

Good evening ladies, WoW are we still on the same subject of RED FLAGS and such. All I have to say is that we are grown A$$ women and God blessed us with great intuition the sooner WE (and I am speaking for all of us because WE have all made stupid mistakes about a man either here or in JA) stop making our hearts make decisions that brain should be making and OPEN our eyes the better off we would be.

You said it in a nutshell. Dang I went all around the world trying to say the same thing.:innocent: The only thing about a forum is that everyone will never be logged on or at the same spot at the same time...so it will continue to be discussed until it dies its own natural death.

Good advice once again and I think I'll have to say something almost exactly like that. Everything else but THAT subject is okay with me. It just makes me want to turn around and walk away from her when she starts up with it.

As far as the subject of red flags goes, I guess it's something that will be discussed from time to time as long as this thread continues. Maybe not the same exact subject, but in one form or another because various 'red flags' can pop up that others want to get input on. And some of the same subjects will probably get re-hashed as someone new comes along or a new issue comes up for someone that's been here a while. Just presuming ya know....

I will pray for the same thing when I do get married, I never ever want to get divorced. I want us to last forever and ever, unfortunatly things happen and reality kicks in somtimes and thats why there is such a high divorce rate. But I am an optimist so it wont happen to me. :)

where is philly at ????( looking around)

well not only have i shot FATSMASH To hell today with TACO bell, now im eating a walnut marshmallow fudge caramel drizzled brownie, with a huge cup of coffee, while i chill at Borders and do ppwk just to get out the office from the phones ringing and the crazy people for a minute.

Wow. That made me crave bad-for-you food.

Hey ladies, for those of you who can pull off the shorter dress styles, check this out. I saw the link yesterday from another Jamaica friend who swears by them and has three she takes on her trips there.

http://www.thesaress.com/

I watched the video to see how it looks from the back... a bit too revealing for my body. But I do wonder if I could just buy some fabric and make something similar for cheaper.

Well to make it short and to the point, my trip was very good, good food, great fun, and good lovivng. As in any family, thre is always some family drama, but we must remember we don't get to choose our family. But we still love them the same. The Jamaican economy has suffered from some of the same changes we are suffering here in the USA, so that makes people act different alos.

I enjoyed good food, and plenty of good music.

I'm heading to Negril TOMORROW!!

I hope to enjoy the good food & music like you did, but I'll pass on the drama.

Girl no cream in da hair for me.....you see my hair??? My daughter has the same....I am lazy about the head! It is initially awkward to do it (waxing the coooch)mainly because you never know what you will incounter until the pants come off! But once starting it is like a task to be completed....no time to frett...just get it done! I am a little nervous though because the spa I worked at closed back in Feb and I fear getting out of the hang of it. Guess it will be just like riding a bike....it will come back!

I was thinking it might not be so hard to make something at home either. About 3 yards of fabric would be pretty easy to work with.

Oh wow it's that time for you to go already huh? Safe travels and have a great trip Nat!
