OMG the padded butt panty is sooo funny. I bought one for me and my mama a few years ago. It has the butty cheeks cut out (like Prince) so when they go through the whole your buttie is so big and beautiful.

Well mine only looks good in jeans and damn if these thighs don't be burning so I told mama only wear it for a date or something that is 2 hours or less. Well she had to be hard-headed and wore it to work. She got so many compliments but keep in mind mama is a size 4 so the thing was squeezing her so bad she had the outline of it in bruises on her body for weeks after. She said she will never where it again and I said so why you keeping it then. lmao..

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

Hey look like a full house here, how is everyone doing this afternoon?

Hi Nelly! It's alive in here today! How are you?

Luciano - Update

Awful thing...prayers needed.

From The Observer:

Red Hills shootout: 3 police injured, 'most wanted' gunman killed

Corey Robinson, Observer staff reporter

Posted: 3/25/2009 8:24:25 AM

THREE policemen have been shot and injured, one seriously, and a gunman from the 'most wanted' list killed in a shootout at a house on Westminster Crescent off Red Hills Road, St Andrew this morning.

Acting on intelligence, police had surrounded the house at 5:30 am, which they said was owned by entertainer Luciano, when the shooting started.

Police said that when the gunman saw them he used Luciano's children as a human shield.

A firearm has been recovered and Luciano has been taken to Half-Way-Tree Police Station for questioning.

This is horrible for so many families! :crying: It's so similar to what just happened in Oakland with four officers dead and the suspect killed also. It's all so pointless.

You always manage to say what I'm trying to say without trying. Thanks! I was basically saying "so what if you help your man every now and then." There is a definite difference between being pimped and being in an relationship where both partners are giving and taking and they are both satisifed with the give and take.

I just want us to stop coming here and prefacing every time you decide to do something of your man with "I dont send money and he never asks."

I may be wrong...but I felt like there is more to Ells situation that made the extra phone card seem like more or a big deal...sort of like the straw that broke the camels' back. Maybe she feels that he has not been honoring the fact that she is on a stricter budget now. So, that's why this has upset her.

I think you hit the nail on the head Jawi. This is why we bring things up here, because others can sometimes help you articulate what you couldn't put into words but were feeling. Anyway, I can't say that this has 'broken the camel's back' so to speak, but it has brought an important issue to light and it will be a big discussion point.

Ells;

This is why my husband and I have a wonderful relationship and I love him for that. I tell him what needs to be done and he finds a way to get it done...if you can meet me half way or at least try to. I told my husband, you have a better chance of surving in Jamaica, at least you won't freeze or starve to death. If a one rotten mango or mash up breadfruit you can beg for at least you have a chance...when he got to the states he told me, now I see what you mean. He said he had an idea, but now he see what I mean by, life no easy and there is no MONEY TREE in the backyard!

I've told my SO that when he comes here, we will not be marrying right away because if he really doesn't like it and can't hack it here, he'll have to go back home. At least he knows how to survive there like you say. He's going to learn that it doesn't get easier here, just a different kind of struggle.

Lawny and Hotlegz..things are good. Somedays are better than others. Some of the stuff we are dealing with is the same..him hanging out with friends. However, as long as I don't nag him he comes on home and limits the outings and the minute I start giving him grief..well you know. Otherwise I'm still trying to get prego and no luck yet. I'm disappointed every month

Hope everything gets resolved Wakey. This process is probably one of the biggest challenges two people can go through and I pray that people succeed in it. Keeping the lines of communication open and expectations clear is key (I'm learning this right now! ). I hope it works out for the best and that you get that blessing when the time is right!

Well, he just sent a message....Honey I failed... :crying: Then he called to say they barely even asked him 4 questions....it wasnt a good fit. They needed farm workers and he works in an office situation. I am a true beleiver that everything happens for a reason and thus...something better is awaiting him and we will make it through this journey...pinching penny's!:thumbs:

Just feel bad cause he is feeling beaten down..... Chearleader Moira to the rescue...ra ra ra!!!!

Aw, sorry to read that Moira! I know you can make him feel better though.
