Q: Has anyone ever used assests or heard of anyone using assests for the Affidavid of Support? I see that it is an option as well as using a sponsor but didn't know if anyone has actually done it. Much of my income is not reportable and I don't feel comfortable asking anyone to sponsor so I will need to use my assests which are well over the guidelines....just hoping it still works.

Any info will be greatly appretiated.

Hey, Jamerican I used my car as an asset and just provided a copy of the title. It really wasnt worth it because my car is worth 5000.00 but they will only give me the credit for 500.00. In order for your assets to be considered for the income requirement it has to be 10Xs as much. So if you have 30,000.00 in the bank they only count it as 3,000.00.

honey... do u have an outlet??.. u mentioned praise dancing once.. maybe put on one of ur cd's and dance (sounds funny, but works) if dancing feels to silly, PRAY.. not like a big to do, but just talk w/ God like u would talk to us,empty urself out, tell him all ur stresses and concerns.. or if that still don't feel right..JOURNAL.. MAN.. that has really gotten me thru some tough times. I would get up at night and just write down stuff that was going thru my head.. i still have some of those journals

Mr. Man got here in October. I have very short patience, so prayers are needed for the both of us. I should appreciate the silent treatment oppossed to past history. I have managed to drop a bit of weight, and when i stick to specific plan i manage to drop a good amount without it coming back.

i will probably have on a full body girdle, and hope i dont pass out...LOL

I do want the water behind me and preferably a sunset so we can get the party crackin afterward...LOL

My home is only 1/3 mortgaged so I was planning on using that....Cars value depreciate so much didnt even think about using that.... So LS did you make up the difference with assests so you didn't need a sponsor?

My Income is over the 125% poverty limit so I didnt need a co-sponsor its only 3 of us me, my daughter and my SO. I dont even know why I included the car it really didnt make a difference. You should be fine as long as you can prove how much your home is worth.
