Hey Island...I send text messages through my e-mail to his phone ALOT, and he receives 90% of the texts I send him. All I do is type in: 876xxxxxxx@digitextjm.com in the TO: box. Make sure you type a small word like "hi" or something in the subject line (some e-mails won't send your message w/o a subject) and then type in your message. It's worked out really well for us to the point where I took international text off of my cell phone.

It used to be 876xxxxxxx@digitextjm.com. However, I tried from my computer back in November...and they were coming back as undeliverable. Hope it works for you.

I just got a call from Air JA - informing me that my 8:30 am return flight had been cancelled and they booked me on the 5:15 - I was like #######??? I never booked an 8:30 am - I booked the 5:15 to begin with - so he tells me that they had cancelled that, and booked me on the am one =- now they changed it back - I thanked him, but I wanna know WHY I never got a call or email with the first switch????????????????????

Anyone hear from Shrewdie???

Thanks Mrs P. I used to send them that way all the time, but I started getting email messages that the message failed. I think it had something to do with yahoo though.

Glad AJ called you in advance!! They always call me like a day or 2 before I leave telling me they changed my flight. Good thing they were nice enough to let you know they changed in a 2nd time --- that's a big of a time difference!!

I have had a rough few days

I lost my best friend of 15 years on Sunday, she just stopped breathing in her sleep...

I am thankful she is at peace now, but so sad at the same time...

She was so happy for me and finding a man I truly want to marry... I was her maid of honor 8 years ago and sure was hoping she would re-pay the favor

Thankfully his love keeps me sane, and he has been so attentive the past few days...

Michael pays for internet on his phone at $400 or $500 a week I can't remember??....he then logs onto his yahoo messinger and I have yahoo messenger linked to my cell. I have unlimited text on my phone.

Evening Yardies!

Well, I've spent all day catching up on the last thread & this new one.

I'm a little depressed to be home and back to reality but not as bad as before. Maybe because since we've filed, I feel like it won't be as long until I see my mister again. Didn't even really cry at the airport this time...eyes watered once real quick and then I was good...or at least until the couple in the plane seats in front of me started snuggling & I started feeling lonely looking at them!

I am now officially engaged even though we've long since known we'll be getting married. He proposed officially on Friday the 13th! For me, those have always been pretty pleasant and/or lucky days so once again it's all good!

I can't remember everything I read in the last thread but I do want to express my sadness for Sonny's situation. I too am one of those hopeful romantics who always want things to work out for people. I'm so sorry and I pray time heals and brings you the best for you!

I wish someone would link me to the 'adjustment' thread that got locked down cause I've been searching and can't find it.

Ok details details lol

Well yesterday morning he was making breakfast when I came out the shower. I was heading to the kitchen to help him and he said...wait right there. Me, being nosy and VERY stubborn, told him no and that I was coming in..but something kept holding me back. So i threw a fit yelling and cursing asking wat he was hiding and screaming we're about to get married and ray ray ray.

So he came in the living room, put his hands on my shoulders and said exactly we soon married so its time u stop the foolishness and stop worry yuh head! So i stormed in the room and started fixing my hair and getting ready to leave. So he came in the room and said yuh nah eat someting b4 we leave? mi fix breakfast fi yuh....when I went into the dining room there was a plate of eggs and calalloo, bread and some chocolate tea. He had shaped the bread to spell I LOVE YOU. I started balling like there was no tomorrow!!!

So my cousin came with the car and we headed to the Registrar's Office. It was busy in there as thats the place where people can get birth certificates, passports, etc. We were called to the back room and in there was a beautifully lit arch and spring backdrop. We sat at a table with our two witnesses at each of our sides. The minister had all the paperwork filled out ahead of time. We introduced ourselves and our occupations.

We started with prayer and then we stood under the arch as we said our vows. As Lance said "to love and to cherish" he held my hands tighter and I could see the eye water starting. I lost it and started crying once again!!! The minister said "dont cry until couple years from now when you're in the delivery room" we were both nervous and excited and the minister really helped keep us smiling.

After the ceremony and the signing of the marriage certificate, the minister told us that although we are married we must remember to keep our friendship alive and strong.

That is all so sweet Marie and big huge congrats to you too!

Part II:

Ugh, I don't know. We have tons of airline miles, so we can go anywhere on miles. He has his list of desires (Brazil, Paris, Bermuda) and I have my list (Thailand, Greek Islands, Mexico, Dominican Rep.). Now that we have the Visa thing to consider, it will play a factor.

I just want to start going somewhere!!! The chance to travel was taken away from me during the year of kidney failure, and now that I have the opportunity back, I want to take full advantage. You never know how long a donated kidney can last, so I just feel like I want to GO GO GO!!

Jet Blue is starting to fly to Montego Bay in May, so that is also an option, but not sure if we're ready for that again so soon. I want to show him the whole world!!

I sure echo that sentiment! It must be like having a child, you want to show them everything!

Hello everyone me naw been home for a long time I miss u guys!!!! Life has been throwing so many different things at me that I had to stop and breath. I will fill ya'll in later when I work everything out. I Think I missed all of 12 trying to catch up. Congrats to all that recieved good news!!!!!!

I'm still in pain. My doctor's visit today was not good. I discovered that I am still in so much pain because my spine is not fusing (not healing) together. It is just like day 1 without swelling. I could be facing long term/permanent disability. The doctor wanted to write me back out of work, but I don't want to loose my job. So, he told me to talk to my HR department and see what type of accommodation they will make for me, and he will write up all the paperwork to cover it. I cried for a long time because I just want to be out of pain. I feel so helpless. I can't do anything for myself anymore. I can't bend, stoop, lift over 10lbs...excercise...you name it...I can't do it.

I haven't seen A since August...I miss him like crazy. But, I'm not sure if I can manage to sit on a plane that long...not to mention carrying luggage and doing connecting flights to Canada. Soon, I will be starting my 5th bottle of Percocet...with no end in sight.

Oh Jaws I'm so sorry to read this! I'm praying for you to start having some substantial recovery & that you won't have any permanent disability like this. I really feel for you! (((HUGS)))
