Another Branbury issue - A picked up the blue slip on Tuesday. Andrews can't get him in until the 23rd. Branbury's office said they could get him in yesterday or today. He gets there today and the girl tells him that she needs $3k to "squeeze" him in. He said no way and left.

Would you guys send a FYI to the embassy or just let it be?

:ot2:

$3k - WHAT

Hey Valerie ( waving)

Wha gwaan?

Ok, so i have a general question for whoever feels like answering, i am perusing different sites for planning this undetermined wedding date, maybe july.. anyway i got back a quote of 1650.00 from tropical weddings located in Ochi, that would take care of license, location, cake, decorations, damn near everything, short of us showing up but two of my friends think that is high, i dont think it is for a wedding, but hell what do i know i have never been married, so what do you all think? oh yeah that includes set up for 10 guests also.

For any of my already married Vj'ers is that a decent rate or is it possible to go cheaper and still have a nice non bootleg type ceremony? :)

Honey; I was about to ask you how many quests...she had 10 people also. That's about how much my cousin paid, but her packaged included meals, liquor and the photo "DRUNK", but he did a good job nonetheless. She got married in Negril use some one that use to be a wedding planner in California who moved to Jamaica in 2002 and made a living setting up smaller ceremonies. I think her business is called "Simpliciti". She's a little rough around the edges, but she does a great job. I also have other family members who have spent close to $5,000.00 for a LAVISH wedding for about 250 people...but mi no know.

What's the name of this person and where can I find them cause the quotes we have gotten for 50 people was almost twice that amount!!!

Thanks Kimmy that would be cool, cause i really dont know what is considered a good rate or not for a wedding. :)

Portland i looked up a link i found on VJ called Tropicalweddings.com and looked at her packages, she did have a cost cutter deal for 750.00 but i thought that might be they provide a minister and sprinkle a little sand at my feet and say your married, that will be 750.00 please....LOL

Good Morning Ladies, Thanks for the congrats on the approval. I just found out that I am not pregnant though, I started bleeding this morning so I took another test and it was negative. I took 3 tests last weekend and they were all positive??? I called the dr and she said it may be an early loss. Who knows I am a little sad but very happy for the approval.:)

Hello VJ family

Lovesponge I am so sad to hear the news, I worry about you at times, feel better. The approval came just in time. :innocent:

Congratulation Kimmy on the good grades and Shrew - maybe he can just take a cab to work the one day. I've been missing Portland since she married now! And Classy girl, I love that you are willing to drink for me and jawi……I am coming to MI just to hang with you! Culture - keep praying. Rox, I wish I could go with you to Kingston - have fun for ALL of us.

So I am planning the big spring break trip with Trevor. He has already packed his suitcase and we have 3 weeks to go. I need to find a water park hotel near by so he will think that we are out-of-town.

I hope everyone is ready for the weekend - Last night my mom has been stalking me to take her to the NEW target near the house, by no surprise - it was just like the old target just cleaner!

I totally agree. The only issue I've heard about Dr. Banbury is people paying under the table cuz they could not pass their medical. For those who didn't have any issues, had no problems with Banbury. Something is not adding up.

Hi everybody.

Sorry Lovesponge (F)
