Good Morning Ladies, Thanks for the congrats on the approval. I just found out that I am not pregnant though, I started bleeding this morning so I took another test and it was negative. I took 3 tests last weekend and they were all positive??? I called the dr and she said it may be an early loss. Who knows I am a little sad but very happy for the approval.

we still havent received SSN (no biggie really but need it to test for drivers liscense)

so we are going to the local office next week

What do I need to take? besides his VISA?

My general rule is take every damn thing you can think of, just in case. We carried around his visa, passport, birth papers, marriage certificate, and then later, SSN everywhere we went officially for quite a while.

I just brought my plane ticket for 03/20 to KINGSTON.

Marie i checked Sandals Ochi, and they have some sort of special going on which bring a wedding and a 7 day stay to 2500.00 dollars but hell when i think hotel, will they allow guest on the property or will they charge everyone 85 bucks for an armband.. now the good thing is the all inclusive option but if im correct sandals doesnt allow children so if i wanted my fam there at least 2 or 3 days they wouldnt be able to stay.. i looked at Shaw Park, dont remember what they quoted..im in the process of trying to make spreadsheet

Another Branbury issue - A picked up the blue slip on Tuesday. Andrews can't get him in until the 23rd. Branbury's office said they could get him in yesterday or today. He gets there today and the girl tells him that she needs $3k to "squeeze" him in. He said no way and left.

Would you guys send a FYI to the embassy or just let it be?

Sorry to hear about this, as it sounds like it would cause an emotional roller-coaster. I can only imagine the mixed feelings of finding out you're pregnant, the eventual acceptance, then the disappointment at finding out you're not. Hope you are getting enough hugs to feel comforted.

Argh. That sounds frustrating. Sometimes I get so disgusted with the hassle around trying to handle business in Jamaica. My SO & I have a plan to move there after 5-10 years in the States... but I need to see more development first.

$1650 for 10 and $5,000 for 250 sound like a huge jump to me.

JG...Sometimes it depends.... I had a cousin who spent around $4,000 for a wedding for 200 people. Most of the fees came from the villa she rented. The wedding was held on the grounds of the villa. She bought all of the decorations up here and distributed them amongst family that were going so she wouldn't have too much luggage. She borrowed the tables/chairs from church and my grandmother's pastor officiated. My family in Jamaica did all of the cooking and she reimbursed them for the cost of groceries. It was beautiful! So sometimes it depends on the resources you use

Lovesponge I am so sad to hear the news, I worry about you at times, feel better. The approval came just in time.

OK, I am current for the week. I am so jealous that Jamerican is in JA, I can not wait till spring comes to Chicago. Tre, the renewing the vows next year sound wonderful. Dance - I am ready to start the 4 day diet, even thou I workout like Damien, I still need to eat better and get ready for my bikini, right Marie! Philly, I am not sure that bananas chips are the devil but starting the group (Dynamic Divas) will work. Jonesie, I have stayed at Sunset and I did not like it, my SO loves the place, but it will be OK for kids.

Mrs.P, I did the Avon walk and it was awesome.

Shanette, thank you for the positive energy, It was so hard not to log on to VJ (Marie) because it only reminds me of my SO. ….. It is so nice to know that my VJ family feels my pain b/c this week was extremely tuff. It was so bad that I took a boyfriend break. I am not sure if is was depression as Honey stated earlier but I truly had given up like Jawi said. Ryon called to say "are you alright, are you good", then the next day his mother called to say *&^%$!# (It was hard to hear & understand what she said, so I just always agree and say yes mam). But today is a better day! I am keeping the faith!

So I am planning the big spring break trip with Trevor. He has already packed his suitcase and we have 3 weeks to go. I need to find a water park hotel near by so he will think that we are out-of-town.
