hey all yall that just got your hubbies here...

what have you done to build up their credit??

We want to buy a house in a year or two and will need M to have a good credit score

As soon as he gets his SSN we want to get started on that

I dont really want to go credit cards..but will do that if we have to.. thought about just getting one and not telling hubby so he wont be tempted to use it and not pay it off....

Will not using it help though? Just put something simple like gas or groceries on it each month.

plus..shrewgyal..u need to explain credit to hubby and if he gets it..he should use it wisely..makes no sense to hide stuff like that..he needs to know for his own sake anyway

Have any of you sent picture messages from Digicel to a US phone? does it work?

He wants to buy a camera phone so we can send pictures back and forth, but he sent me a wallpaper image the other day and it never come through to me. So we are worried that the camera phone won't work even if he buys it...

I am going to ask him tonight he was very grumpy and tired after being there ALL day! He got there at 8:10 and he got out about 2:30.

My mister and I talk a lot too...not as much as you two but enough to make our phone bill each month pretty ridiculous...to the tune of around $200 on average.

We are abusing I mean using the Digicel International plan

I have MetroPCS so it is free for me to txt him. I txt him and he calls me back...

When the 1000 minutes are up on the plan he gets a new chip and txt me the number... in 2 months I have spent $60 through ezetop.com to top up his phone with the $1000J for the plan. He has spent aprox. $40 plus the cost of the 3 extra chips...

WOW! You guys do talk! I've gotta get mister to buy another chip so we can do the same.

I'm happy cause mister has been working on getting his vaccination info too this morning. He went to the clinic in his little town and they DID find his record when he was just a tot! So he has a card to take around with him now. Thanks everyone for the suggestions....they were obviously really helpful!

Okay, I know I shouldn't think this is funny but, I'm seeing on the news at noon that a bunch of people showed up at the DMV for services and the office is closed because it's 'Furlough Friday'. Everyone in the state is affected by furloughs, not just state employees. Now the public can't get basic services two days a month either!

my friend was reading to me this thing from this paper called immirgration news about people lying about the number of children they had on the i-130 or whatever they used to enter the country and then trying to correct the info on the n-400 to naturalize and being deported. I was in schock when she read it to me.
