most of these shots are age appropriate? more than likely he will get the chicken pox, MMR and another mek mi look pon di list

and Hep B a tink..i have yet seen anyone who need more than 3 shots yet

kashi just a tell mi seh a 1 shot him get...and paid $7500 or something like that

I was about to say the same thing. Damien didn't have a vaccination record and only got 2 shots. We just paid what was needed for the interview...which varies. Most of us didn't go to clinics first but it to each's own.

Don't make this process more stressful

We use MoneyGram too with no problems.

nope kashi didn't either..lost in a fire wid everything else...

my sentiments...i'm kinda glad i never found VJ until awaiting the interview :)

 I wouldn't want hubby to get shots that aren't necessary. He needs a physical anyway so might as well get it altogether....just my opinion.

Tuesday, I gave a speech at Toastmasters titled "Tales from the Yard," where I shared a few stories on why I go back to Jamaica so much. I didn't mention my SO in this speech at all, in case I want to devote one to him in the future.

I did talk about this Point Village waiter named Damien... my first trip, I told him "My last two boyfriends' names were Damien. Would you like to be #3?" Then on my next trip (4 months later), I asked him "Did I tell you that my last two boyfriends' names were Damien?" He laughed and said, "Yes.. and you asked if I wanted to be the third." I said "I'm still waiting for your answer." :hehe: Then on my 3rd trip, I saw him again and told him that I'd met another Damien who would become #3... so he can be #4.

Well, my SO (Steven) did NOT care for that part of my speech. He said he felt a little jealous about the Damiens in my life.

I was TOO tickled when I called him a few minutes ago, only to find out that he's hanging out with Damien the waiter. I said, Tell him I won an award for my speech about him!

I have ALWAYS been a phone talker, I am so happy to have found someone who is just as bad (sometimes worse) than me about chatting..

I never knew a man could chat so much :luv:

He works graveyard security and with the time difference, after I put my son to bed is midnight his time and things are usually slow for him. So we spend 2 sometimes 3 hours talking at night... Then he calls me every morning when he gets home to wake me up and sometimes we will talk another hour before I drag my butt to the shower :innocent:

All the while I am looking up things on VJ and other sites for information on what we need to do, what will help smooth the process... What kind of jobs he could do, what our horoscopes say LOL...

Lawd we talk about everything...

So he is going to get his passport (((Ells))) he said he found out today that he does have to go to Kingston for it.

Sounds like I am lucky, he has his vaccination record  that's a lot of 'jooks" and not the good kind :innocent::rofl:

Ells that ya'll found his sisters shot record makes me think he must have had shots too... right? If his family got the sisters shots done why not his too? I say do what someone else did (sorry I can't remember is who) and have him check with the local clinic?

JAPrincess, what are you using to call JA? Ringyard or phone cards or something else?

My mister and I talk a lot too...not as much as you two but enough to make our phone bill each month pretty ridiculous...to the tune of around $200 on average.

It's good he's going to work on his passport cause that might take a little time so good to get started now.

I'm going to press my mister a little more to look into either his school or whatever clinic he would visit when he was younger. We'll see what happens....

I always recommend the Jamaican make the appointments. Funny how the price goes up once they hear an American voice. Two of my friends had serious problems with Dr. Banbury's office.

He has made 4 trips to Branbury's office for all this ####### and working on 2 trips to the embassy - meanwhile missing work. His supervisor is all up in his face about missing all this time from work.

That is just CRAZY!

I would set Lawny out in front of his office :lol:

:rofl::rofl: Fi tru!

Thanks Dillon! That helps A LOT!

We are abusing I mean using the Digicel International plan

I have MetroPCS so it is free for me to txt him. I txt him and he calls me back...

When the 1000 minutes are up on the plan he gets a new chip and txt me the number... in 2 months I have spent $60 through ezetop.com to top up his phone with the $1000J for the plan. He has spent aprox. $40 plus the cost of the 3 extra chips...

When he called this morning he had 12 minutes left. When it cut us off and I still had almost an hour before I had to get ready I was like...

hellz no...

I topped up my ringyard with $10 and called him back...

He got the 4th chip today.... I think 4000 minutes a month should be enough now :bonk::help:

Island  I am gonna get some sleep now

night yardies (L)
