dillon hubby and i stayed at the knutsford court for the interview. it's a little distance from the embassy but i paid a taxi driver{ recommended by the hotel} and it took no time to get there. they know the ins and outs of kingston so we were not in any traffic

Hey jakeswife, how are you doing today. I can't get my act back together to go into the office to work, so I am working from home again today. sigh..

hey roxie i know you are under the weather i hope u will feel better as time passes. i remember whenver my hubby would visit me in jam i feel so lonely when he leaves so much so i hope he would wait until we have an interview date but he would not hear of it and so as he comes and goes i have to suck it up and wait until it was all over.

Ya'll chat faster than I can catch up

Congrats MrsBuggy!!! Congrats Marie!!!

I have had a rough few days :(

I lost my best friend of 15 years on Sunday, she just stopped breathing in her sleep...

I am thankful she is at peace now, but so sad at the same time...

She was so happy for me and finding a man I truly want to marry... I was her maid of honor 8 years ago and sure was hoping she would re-pay the favor :(

Thankfully his love keeps me sane, and he has been so attentive the past few days...

Bitter sweet...

Hope all is well for everyone else....

(((hugs))))

i am so sorry to hear that. was she sick?

She had been through years of chronic pain and spinal surgeries, but she came to my house last week and she looked better than I have seen her look in a long time...

So crazy.... here one day, gone the next :(

Right now I just have to be strong for her Husband and her Mom. They have been like family to me since I lost my Mother 11 years ago...

Thanks for the kind words peeps

On a brighter note...

I printed the I-129F

I am going to bring it down with me in April and any other information I can find about what we need to do.

It is such a great feeling to know you found someone you want to spend the rest of your life with and know they feel the same way...

Looks like I will be starting this journey soon enough... (L)

Any suggestions on things to print/bring for him???

Hi LaDIES! I have a travel question....can a Jamaican travel freely (caribbean, Europe, etc)with a green card? Will he be afforded the same "status" as an American traveler? Or ............if he had needed a Visa to go somewhere before he had his green card, does he still need a visa now?? We are looking to take a Spring trip, and I can't figure out if our options will be limited because of his JA passport.

On a similar note, I came across this Web Question (and subsequent answer), and it doesn't seem accurate to me. Can Jamaicans visit Great Britain and Ireland without a Visa?? Or any of those other countries? I don't think so!!
