Hello to all my helpful friends.

I have decided that a letter of evolution should be included for the interview process. is there a format that I should use?

I also read somewhere that i should include former spouse contact info in the letter. I am looking for ideas as how this should be typed.

Thanking you in advance

No format and no requirement for "evolution of relationship", they really don't care, hate to burst your bubble, but maybe it will save some trouble for you. What you should be prepared to provide (but probably won't have to) is phone bills, travel documents, photos, emails, letters & cards, gift receipts, western union receipts, that kind of thing.

They really don't care when you kissed, talked about getting married, or shared an ice cream cone together. Not to be smart-####, really. But the reality is you will get to the interview and they will say "What's all that?" You will answer "This tome, sir, is the evolution of our unique and most romantic relationship" He will say "hmmm, got any photos?" "Why yes" you will answer and produce your multiple albums..."Give me four photos...thanks, go wait to be called for your interview" You will go to the interview and they will ask either no questions OR no questions that have anything to do with the evolution of your relationship. "What is the name of your fiance's mother?" for example. If she knows the name, it is enough, it doesn't matter that you told it to her under the Eiffle Tower on your third visit to Paris.

Bring it all along, but you will probably not need it. Don't worry, you will get your visa and forget all about lugging that stack of stuff halfway 'round the world.

Good luck. :)

And you do not need to include any information about your former spouse, except proof that you are divorced and a mention of her name in your G-325 which you filed with your I-129f. Once your petition is approved you will not be asked again about your former life, there is not even a G-325 for the AOS, not for you.

That's good advice - stick to the details, your tangible proof will back up your story. No one wants to read the lovey dovey stuff. I suggest having a friend read it first, that's what we did. Good luck!
