Hi All,

This may be an silly question, but I have a nervous bladder at times and was wondering if there are washrooms in the waiting rooms during the processing for the k1 visa at the Montreal consulate? While reading through people's personal stories of their K1 interview, i saw that in vancouver there wasnt a washroom...freaked me out since waiting for hours and being nervous would not be fun!

Thanks to anyone who answers this odd question.lol

I did my interview about a month ago, and I'm almost positive there are washrooms, as well as snack machines, and a coffee machine :) You should be alright, and I was out of there in about 2 hours anyway :) Just make sure you get there before the door opens :)

Hey Angie,

I had taken pics with me - they had asked me to bring two. I know a lady that I spoke to while there had hers taken there. It was 5 days after that I got my Visa...I'm curious as to why they didnt ask you for pictures. I would email the consulate and see if they know anything - it may take a few days to get something back from them.

Do you have the tracking number from your envelope?

Thanks for replying Jenni..I know it's odd that they didn't ask for my passport pics. and it was on the list they gave us on the interview. I was trying to remember if it was asked from me, but if it was, I would've given it to them..anyways, just thought it was the reason why i haven't got my visa yet, because some people here in VJ they got their visa a day after the interview, like chris and lori, but now i'm relieved to find out that it could take few days to wait..I guess I'm just so excited..like you said, I emailed the consulate today to find out if I needed to send my photos...I have been checking my tracking number for the past few days and I don't get anything yet, so I guess they haven't mailed it out yet..Thanks again Jen.. and to the beautiful people of VJ (L) ..

Im sorry guys if this is out of the topic..I just happened to see Jen here this morning so I took the opportunity to catch her coz I knew she just had her interview ...thanks again.. :)

I was just reading this and wondering if because you have to upload a pic on the D-160 now, that they might just use that and not the passport pictures you bring to the interview? You could try tracking it on the CP website, but they're notoriously wrong and not updated often. I think it'll take about a week to receive your passport.
