so today is 82 days since i recieved the NOA for my EAD. i checked my paperwork and my RD was 11/21/08 and my NOA was dated 11/28/08. I recieved my letter to get the fingerprints on 12/03/08. I took my biometrics on 12/17/08. CRIS said the last update was 12/18/08 where they seen that i took the fingerprints. It hasnt been touched since then. Should i be concerned? Any way i can get USCIS to follow up on my case?

If you haven't heard anything after 90 days then do call them and ask if they can open a service request for you since you will be out of your normal processing time at that point, or you could also make an Infopass appointment and follow up with them. Good Luck

I would definitely recommend doing the Infopass appointment instead of calling the customer service line and doing a service request.

My husband's EAD has been pending since September 17, and on December 19 we submitted a service request over the phone. We are still waiting to hear back from them, and we can't do anything until March 1.

From what I've heard, getting the Infopass appointment is more efficient. I would try that if I were you! :)

im going to fill out that form right now. Will i have to go in to the field office and speak to someone about this after i fill it out? What is the purpose of the infopass?

Yes, infopass is to go talk to an USCIS officer at your local field office, and it's purpose is to talk to someone face to face about an inquiry you have regarding your case since sometimes you just cannot get a straight answer over the phone. Good Luck
