Two ways. Which one is the right one?

When it comes to deal with NVC on documents. I have been hearing two ways about the documents that my wife in Uruguay has to gather (our marriage certificate, birth certificate, police records, etc). Does she send them to me so that I can send them along with the DS 230 to the NVC here in the U.S. or does she keep them with her and bring them to her interview?

there is some requirements for NVC and other for interview and each one is different so here is a link for NVC telling you what you have to do NVC STEPS

From your time line i see you are doing an I-130, so the documents called for in the DS-230 package need to go to NVC with the DS-230 1 set of originals AND 1 set of photo copies. It is also to your advantage to have her get a second set of originals ( or at least photocopies) to keep with her to take with her to the Interview. Also if you will be the one to do the DS-230 for her she will need to down load the DS-230 and sign page 2 and send it to you with the documents needed. She is the one that needs to sign that form. (don't let her sign page 4, that is done at the interview).
