Hello vj members, I heard that you cannot buy over the counter drugs in US, with this I want to know if I can bring few medicines like: Diatabs, biogesic, antibiotics, and haplas as what we call it in our dialect. Will it be okay if I also bring manicure/pedicure set?

You can't bring anything that requires a prescription in the U.S. unless you have a prescription. Antibiotics require a prescription.

You will find a much better selection of over the counter drugs here than in the PI except for antibiotics which require a presciption here. We have send many over the counter drugs from here to the PI because they are more effctive than whats available in the PI.

If it's the same generic component, there will be no difference. A lot of medicines are from Americal pharmaceutical companies also. Some are even imported from the US albeit different packaging. OTC meds like those from Costco (Kirkland) are much cheaper though in bulk. Paracetamol (Biogesic) is not common in the US. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is more common.
