I hope everyone's in good hand.

We are now in the process of filing our AOS. I just have question reg my daughters form.

Well since im married to my UC husband of course l get to use his last name, now my questions is..

my husband filled out my dauhgters forms for AOS and he put my daughter under his last name too, he thought

it is the right thing to do sinces we're married already. Is it true? I'm still confused about this so now we kinda stop

at this point. My husband wants to forward the forms with his last name on my daughters forms.

So does my daughter (not my husband's biological daughter) gets to use my husband last name automatically?

since we're married already?

Or do we just stick to my daughters name and not change it?

which is better?

I hope anyone could help me with this. I'd really appreciate.

thanks a lot!

alice

Only way for daughter to use step father's family name would be for father to adopt you daughter.

Your daughter should be using name that she was born with.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

my step daughter used her birth name for AOS. I have to adopt her to have my family name.
