bump so booty sees my question about the screen on the voyager :)

I have problems with it being too sensitive at times. I hate trying to text on it. That's why I always use the inside keyboard to text. I don't really have an issue when calling people because I have all my numbers programmed in as one touch dialing. So I just hit the one number and off it goes. I do have a screen saver on mine because I got some small scuffs on it when I first got it. The screen saver actually scuffs up worse than the actual screen so that makes it harder to see the screen. Other than that, I don't have any issues. Oh, I do calibrate mine pretty often so that might be why it's a little more responsive.

I also have music on my phone and the sound is great. Much better than on my old phone. I have the web and it works well also. The only other issue I have is when I get picture messages that have actual text messages I can't read the messages. I don't know if I'm just missing something or what. I need to check into that.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Voyager for touch screen and keyboard. I have the LG Envy II and I love it! It just doesn't have a touch screen which is the wave of the future.

I had the LG EnV before I got my Voyager. I strayed away from the EnV II because the inside keyboard was so much smaller than the EnV. I had issues with typing on it before so didn't want to go any smaller.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Can someone explain the point of these 'phones' beyond their 'cool' factor?

:P

Have fun Amby, I am sure there are plenty of useful opinions out there, but in the end, just go for the one that looks cute.

I have a Blackberry Pearl - actually its quite useful, a lot more so than my old regular cell.

You pay a bit extra for the data connection but its incredibly useful to be able to look up info on the fly, rather than have to dial 411 for directory assistance.

I absolutely HATE the predictive text thing. It never predicts the word I want so I gave up on it long ago. Will a full keyboard you don't really need it. I'm lethal with my texting fingers :P
