LG Voyager, Blackberry Storm, or LG Dare

I'm going to get a new phone in a few weeks and can't decide which one I want. I'm kinda leaning towards the LG Voyager because it flips open and has an actual keyboard instead of a touch screen keyboard like the others. Anyone have any of these? Pros and cons of any of them?

Can someone explain the point of these 'phones' beyond their 'cool' factor?

:P

Have fun Amby, I am sure there are plenty of useful opinions out there, but in the end, just go for the one that looks cute.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

My phone is like my lifeline. I feel naked without it in my hand or pocket  I use it for everything...calendar, mp3 player, calculator, messages, camera, etc etc etc. I guess I'm a phone ####### :P

I have a Blackberry, so I'm somewhat partial to that line of phones. Having said that, I'd suggest you get the Voyager if you send a lot of text messages and browse online. The keyboard is priceless, plus it hides away when you don't need it. I can't imagine there's as much software as for the Blackberry, however. I don't know if that's a priority for you.

If you like touch screen interfaces and want the newest Blackberry, I'd say go with the Storm. Blackberry phones have tons of software, so if you like to customize your phone (beyond what's available for non-Blackberry devices), I'd suggest this phone. The practicality of it -- aside from the software available -- is limited and sometimes touch screens can be overly sensitive. You might need a stylus, which depending your preference, may or may not be something you want.

The LG Dare looks neat, but I don't see what the main difference is from the Blackberry Storm.

The blackberry is good for those. I never considered storm but in general there are lots of software for Blackberry. I personally would go with Blackberry or Nokia for PDA.

I have the voyager. I absolutely love it. I don't even use my phone for that much stuff except texting. For that the inside keyboard really comes in handy. I don't really know much about the other ones. I do know my 20 year old niece has the blackberry and it's constantly tearing up on her. She's had 3 in the last 6 months or so. I stayed far, far away from the blackberry when I was choosing a phone.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Thanks! I'm a big texter and net browser on my phone so I was thinking the keyboard was what I probably would need

I think they all have GPS just depends if you want to pay for it or not :P

Do you have problems with the touch screen not being as responsive as you'd like it to be? My sister has the Voyager and is constantly complaining about the outside screen pissing her off. She had the iphone until she dropped it into a pool and then gave up on having her own contract

Hey check out this site.

http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Verizon-carrier-c_17.html

They have reviews on the phones you are looking at.

Personally out of those phones I would go for the Dare. It's LG's top of the line phone.

Another one to check out is the Samsung Omnia which seems like a great phone too.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
