this is my opinion, I do not shoot everything that moves in the middle of the night. however, if you are moving in my house or fenced yard you will be shot repeatedly. and I could care less if you are after drugs, money, or gold, you will get a large amount of LEAD!

Harsh! If you are serious, you should not have a gun. Bullets do not discriminate friend from foe.

I don't think there's anything wrong with self-defence in principle - not being in the position where deadly force has been used its hard to question this guy's actions one way or the other.

My biggest objection in this thread is the presentation of this case as some sort of "lesson we can all learn from" porno trip to justify owning a firearm; especially when this is combined with blatant scaremongering reminiscent of a Charles Bronson Death Wish movie.

It seems a bit psychotic to me.
