Hi all, hoping to get some more advice if possible. It is coming up to 90 days now since we got the NOA for our application for a temporary work permit/EAD. However we got an RFE, so should we wait until 90 days after that until trying to get an Infopass? And would it be worthwhile contacting our Congressional member now or should we wait on that too? Any other tactics worth exploring? It would be very useful getting work authorization soon as our savings our getting low.

P.S On a different topic, Visajourney has saved up thousands of dollars in lawyers fees. Is there a fund which anybody is aware of that we could make a donation (when in jobs with money!) to pro-bono immigration lawyers or something similar. Suggestions appreciated...

Since you did have an RFE wait till you 90 days are up and then definitely try making an infopass or call and open a service request and go from there. Good Luck

Since you're still within 'current' timelines - I'd hang tight for a bit longer - processing usually resumes within a fairly short period of time after an RFE is replied to (assuming what was sent was satisfactory) and EAD's don't tend to get hung up for very long.

I wouldn't get an elected official involved at this stage.
