already? you must have woke up early. Im going to shower then out to eat breakfast soon (since someone used all the eggs and didnt say when we were at the store) then think ill buy a turkey breast and cook, see my mom, maybe carpet shop little more, then before u know day is gone, hum maybe i need the geritol also

I could have slept all day today!

I hope you all had a nice relaxin weekend.

What happened with your Valentines?

We hit the town Friday night, since that was his night off. I havent gone out like that in so long. Nice to have him by my side.

We just drank, ate, played pool and enjoyed watching the singles make fools of themself.

I got hubby a card and a heart filled with chocolates.

i ordered him 2 CDs I know he is gonna love and they will come in the mail anyday.

As for me, well, since hubby hands me the money and hasn't found his way just yet, I guess my Valentines will be better served next year.

It's ok....I still had nice weekend!

Oh, I dont want to be at work! :help:

I went to the movies with my sister for valentines day. George sent me an ecard.....best he could do right now.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Bah. Something is wrong with my computer. I can't print anything. And if I can't print anything, there's not much I can do at work.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

Wael had his first Girl Scout cookies! Thin mints and Samoas! Loved them.

WOW Jeanne! Those are my favorite Girl Scout cookies! I havent had them in some years though. I beleive I heard recently that they made the prices go up again on them.

Girl Scout cookies are $4.00 a box here.

That is how much they are here. We didn't buy any this year but my daughter used to be in scouts and we used to buy about 15 boxes and freeze them. Samoas are our fav!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the most awful dream. I dreamed Waleed came to America and almost immediately didn't live with me. We had an apartment we shared with my mom for the time being. I was with him when you got his own place near a hospital telling me it's for work.

Then instead of going for medicine and being a doctor he went for selling cell phones or anything that you could make the most amount of money at. I was really distraught because he was hardly ever with me. I started crying feeling really sorry for myself and then I woke up crying and realized my wedding ring was switched to my index finger just passed the knuckle on the same hand. Somehow in the night while sleeping I switched it from the ring finger to the index finger and I never done that before. This dream has upset me so much.

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Here's a funny one of my friends posted on FB:

My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.

As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us that

'Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super.'

On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed this well-dressed and rather Arabic looking woman hadn't moved a muscle. 'Perhaps you didn't hear me over those big brute engines, but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us onto the ground.'

She calmly turned her head and said,

'In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one.'

To which (I swear) the flight attendant replied , without missing a beat,

'Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you.

Tray-up, B!tch'
