what do you mean hun? are you trying to get the salary letter for an 864?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

That sucks!! It's gonna be almost 2 months since you got approved....####### was VSC doing with your file for 8 months?!!

It can't hurt to call :)

Yea, You're right BUT it always leaves me frustrated.... Lunch is in 20 minutes... Maybe I'll call......:blink::blink:

I have an info pass appt tomorrow afternoon. I'm so afraid that will end in a bunch of BS lies too. At least I will be face to face with an actual immigration officer.

Jen Good luck for tomorrow...hopefully you will get some good and valuable information.

My hubby booked an infopass for March 3rd...hopefully we get approved before then.

yep! i'll give my speech about efficiency again. 8 months at a service center..they couldnt use that time and resource to run some f ing background checks?! heh

I'm holding on to the hope that it will save us from AP post interview. It's hard to keep a positive attitude when we have been waiting 10 months already, but i'll try ;)

is he well above the poverty guidelines? i think of the salary letter as an added bonus..not so much a requirement. BUt if he's pushing the guideline, you may want to wait and send it

that my opinion

what is the hold up? why cant the employer just type up a letter, its takes like 5 minutes!

You have tax transcripts. Will you guys send copies of his w-2's/1040 also?

I sent Yazied transcripts for the past 3 years, copies of my w-2's and 1040a,two salary letters(1 from the last job just to show consistency) and I meet the guidelines for a family of 7 and we are 3, but I was paranoid

I think you will be fine..I would go ahead and send it, get that sucker moving along..that would be my line of thinking.

It will take me about an hour to get home since it will be rush hour in center city philadelphia. hmmmm log on around 6pm to be safe. if you log on to FB and write on my wall, I will get a text message and then I can reply from my phone.

yes, everyone who you support(including your hubby) are included. the guidline is 125% above the poverty gudielines for 2009.

http://aspe.hhs.gov/POVERTY/09poverty.shtml

Persons in family Poverty guideline

1 $10,830

2 14,570

3 18,310

4 22,050

5 25,790

6 29,530

7 33,270

8 37,010

find your family size and multiply that amount by 125% :D

aruba, good luck and Im sure you'll be fine..especially with that work history
