Don't take this wrong ... but I'm just curious ... how come no one post a thread for California filers? Or a thread for all K3 filers?

I feel like I'm being left out :(

Sorry you feel that way.

The reason is because people who file with California are usually approved within a month or two. They don't stay online with us long. They don't really have to play the super long waiting game like us who got stuck with Vermont. So we made the thread for those of us stuck with Vermont. As you see, I waited almost 10 months, my friends here have been waiting 6 (if you're lucky), 7, 8, 9 months... That's the only reason. Nothing against California filers :D

It's funny, I always thought....where are all of the cali filers? they just dont have to be around that long. You may see someone post every once in a blue moon.

Come along and wait witht he rest of us..everyone is welcome!

Narina,

any news at NVC? is your k3 on its way to the consulate yet?

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Thanks for the support Narina & Lisa ... I am praying that the "California" trend continues (month or two?), but who knows  I'm at 3 1/2 months ... but I also realize that's not nearly as long as some others have had to suffer :(

How are the members coming up with this statement: Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated ... Can you put in your date somewhere and get a response like this, or are they just calculating themselves off the average number of days between NOA1 and NOA 2?

Excellent "I miss her" Good luck with the rest of the journey ...

There is not enough data in the timelines to accuratley approximate when your I-129f will be approved.

Based on timeline data, your I130 may be adjudicated between March 2, 2009 and March 19, 2009*

I guess CSC is so fast at approvals that people from CSC do not get around to posting K3 information, hence VJ is not able to give you a approx timeline.

ok, the k3 is still in AP at NVC, and someone who married when we filed just got their visa approved for a cr-1, no word of AP as of yet. maybe it is safer now with the cr1 in amman...

maybe time to re-evaluate the plan.
