thats awesome Jenn! Isnt it sad that it depends on who you talk to?

I hope you get something out of it. When I did a service request I got back a generic letter saying they were "currently processing blafrigginbla"

I think your time is coming soon anyway.

The k3 vs cr1 is weighing heavy on me today since my AP theory got all blown to hell. (dont ask) lol

anyway, good deal Jenn. I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

Lisa,

You crack me up! :P What did the blafrigginbla ( ) letter say exactly? And did you get approval right after you got that letter? What was the date of the letter they sent you? What if that letter got you to ur NOA2 and u just didn't know?? Here's me hoping our service request will bring about an approval lol

my husband loves my "bla bla"'s too

well the letter said what the robotic operators say:

"we are currently processing petitions received on _____" I think it might have said some bs about trying to get "caught up" at vsc..

bottomline...it said..sorry,schumck..you better just wait some more. :(

I wrote letters to my congressman on a monthly basis and even wrote the USCIS oversight commitee. I wasnt taking it lying down...it probably didnt help anything really, 'cept my sanity

2 good things came from writing congress

1) the constituent manager actually started a dialouge with the congressman about the CSC vs VSC issue.

2) She is going to write the consulate when our interview is scheduled  that should win us some points eh?

you guys are your only advocates..if you need to request inquiries, write lettetrs..i say do itup!

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

 You are like a ray of sunshine...If I knew you in real life we would be best friends. I love ur personality :P

I was actually thinking abt that...what if enough of us started a petition through email abt how ridiculous this waiting is (especially how unfair as far as CSC vs VSC waiting time...someone got their CR1 approval today from CSC at day 45!!!!! :o ) and went to Washington to present it to Obama, I wonder would anything come out of it?

ok, here's "my story"

6/10/8-touch

6/11/8-touch

9/3/8-letter to Congressman requesting an inquiry

9/25/8-received standard generic answer from USCIS regarding case

9/26/8-requested further, more detailed inquiry by congressman

9/26/8 afternoon-touch

9/27/8- touched again!!!

10/14/8- congressman response to my request for further details of case: your case has not been reviewed or sent to an adjudicator

11/6/8-update review request processed by an officer at VSC

11/10/8- faxed another letter to congressman asking for an inquiry as to why my case is not considered "outside normal processing times" (since they're clearly posted as 6 months)

11/14/8--answer from congressman---WE'RE in the ADJUDICATION QUE!!!!

12/31/8--approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we got the response about a month later

that used to be my LOONG siggy

This weekend is my working 24 hours weekend :dead::dead::dead:

Today my tech asked me if I had anything "fun" planned after he was done working. I'm like, "Huh? Fun? What's that?" I felt bad cause I would have liked to have him eat something and take a rest...but I can't do that being alone at the house. He understood though and said he was surprised my husband even let me hire him to do the work LOOOL To tell you the truth, I was surprised too. I asked my husband if it was okay, before I finalized it. I told him who it was too. But I used to have a tech that was gay which my husband knew about. Now I wonder if he thought it was the gay guy that was coming to do the work...
