AOS approved before EAD...

When I originally filed for my AOS in August '08 I didn't bother to file for an EAD (pointless at the time), but in late December our circumstances had changed and I decided to file. Well, the EAD is still pending but my AOS was approved a few days ago (needless to say, I was shocked). Should I contact the USCIS and let them know to cancel it, or should I just leave it?

When they get around to the EAD application, they will see the I-485 has already approved then they will simply move on....
