In my opinion, you don't need to as long as you have plenty of other evidences of communication & meeting aside from them. But in case they will ask for it, bring it along with you but no need to translate them.

just bring what you have. i carefully chronicled chat logs, chat dialogs, emails, western union receipts, current letters of intent. the prescreener said "just give me some emails" LOL...after all our efforts to build evidence of bona fide relationship! ) you'll be fine with the chats - even if they are in Swaheelee!!!
