My wife received her biometrics appointment for Friday, 2/20 at 3:00pm. We're unable to make it in the afternoon, but a morning appointment on the same day would work just fine.

Should I schedule an Infopass appointment for 2/20 in the morning and attempt to have her biometrics done at the Infopass appointment?

The biometrics and Infopass appointments are at the same local Ft. Smith, AR office.

If not, is there a way to call and reschedule? Appointment notice said to mail in for reschedule, but I think we're too close to 2/20 to be mailing anything.

Any suggestions?

When Said needed to reschedule his biometrics due to weather, we had to do what it said and make a copy and mail it in requesting a new appointment, and it was sent out the day of the appointment. I did attach a letter stating that it was due to the weather, and we got it rescheduled with in a 2 weeks i think.

Try doing a walk-in prior to the appointment, with the letter many places will go ahead and process the biometrics.

i would go in the morning and try to do a walk-in if they will allow it, sometimes they will let you in a little early, but the only other option is what it says on the letter, they won't do this by phone.

I had my biometrics re-scheduled as they scheduled originally a separate date for my son and me.

I wrote the service center that I want to be re-scheduled and I set a time that would be possible for me. I mailed it to the service center where I will have biometrics done , submitted original Notice letter and made a copy to where I filed my I-175.

The following day after I mailed my letter, I got a call from USCIS telling me of my new schedule.

That is awesome. They replied immediately through phone and mailed also my new notice.

Good luck!
