Have your hubby submit a I-130 for stepchild. At least get things moving while you continue trying to get your anak US citizenship!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Yes, the US Citizen parent submits an I-130 for child or step-child.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Try this link:

http://www.foreignborn.com/visas_imm/start...irth_abroad.htm

The link explains the possibilities of a child becoming a US citizen.

If the child was born in the foreign parent's country, the US citizen parent must prove he was in the US at the time of birth. Maybe this is the problem? Also, it says the birth must have been reported as soon as possible.

Seems the road to go now is the I-130. You could try to request for a case expedite then.

Good luck. We hope you'll be reunited with your baby girl soon. :)

i have no valuable information to offer u but i wanted to offer prayers for ur situation. i think there can be nothing worse than to be separated from ur child, and truthfully sounds a little stupid that the usa is doing this as they are suppose to be about not separating families.

i also didnt know that if u didnt live in the usa for a while that ur child could not be considered usa citizen, seems rather stupid but ur in my prayers i hope this situation is resolved very fast (F)
