Sorry, that was the point. If the email, etc. are not going out, people will have to wait for a letter to arrive to know that they are "moving on". The delay then causes a delay in the stats.

I still agree with this point...my husband's AP arrived today, approved date of 2/6/2009, but the case shows last updated on 12/12/2008. Yay! We aren't planning on going anywhere, but it's nice to have, just in case.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

I'd say something is weird... my AOS came in dated Nov. 14, my biometrics was on Jan. 26 (which seems like a pretty long waiting time) and then on the very same day of my biometrics I received a letter in the mail saying they attempted to mail my permanent resident card but since it been lost in the mail I had to file for a replacement. Strange, how could they send me a green card before the biometrics and interview?

Most likely an error. Many of such these days. I would suggest calling/scheduling an InfoPass to find about this strange thing (somebody waits for their green card lost in the mail and need to file for replacement at this time, and they don't know about it). What kind of a mess are these guys running?

Have you noticed how many people in AOS don't have a VJ timeline? They post all the time and have a signature timeline, but nothing that helps with the stats pages.

I agree! More people need to be creating timelines in the "timeline" section of VJ!

God bless and best of luck on your journey!

My AOS file was received on the 15th of Jan 2009 and the Notice of Action for AOS/EAD/AP were received on 01/22/09. Been almost a month, I have not heard from USCIS regarding my Biometrics Appointment. I called USCIS but the lady politely told me that I would receive Biometrics appointment letter before the 02/22/09. and I shouldn't worry. If I understand correctly, the Biometrics should be received within the month in General. Anybody care to give advice. Does placing service request help in any way?
