Have you noticed how many people in AOS don't have a VJ timeline? They post all the time and have a signature timeline, but nothing that helps with the stats pages.

There seems to be some delay in USCIS's updating of "touches" on applications. Myself, I got the AP issued on February 10, yet the status on the website is "case received and pending" with a last touch on December 18. Somebody in the November thread said he/she received the physical EAD in the mail, yet no email notifying its approval was sent, although that person said was registered on USCIS's website.

Personally, I would prefer USCIS working on the files and sending documents without the web update:)

I read here that many VJers do not get any touches, or at least none around approval time. I never received a CRIS email at all, and it took forever (after approval) for the system to be updated to reflect the approval that I had in hand. I agree that the resources should be put into the caseload, if the system is not going to be used consistantly.

This is not about USCIS not updateing there online status. If you look at the VJ stats on AOS,AP,EAD normaly about 3 people a day file for these. But there has not been one new AP or EAD issued to anyone on VJ since Feb 3.2009. This is way outside of normal statistics so something is up at USCIS.

Sorry, that was the point. If the email, etc. are not going out, people will have to wait for a letter to arrive to know that they are "moving on". The delay then causes a delay in the stats.

However, they reported card received on the very same day, suggesting that the arrival of the card was indeed the first they knew about the approval.

They're evidently still working though cases but may not be emailing notices effectively.

Go to the top of the page where it says My Assistant (the light blue bar). When you click it, it will give you the option to add/edit your timeline. Just fill in the blanks from there and click update at the bottom when you are done.

It would not make any discrepancy because it has the ratio of those who post versus thoughs who do not, has not changed.

The one EAD was from Augest and apears to be out of the norm. IF it was only an online delay , they would have started to apear again about the Febuarary 11. Assuming an 8 day delivery time per the average from those pages.

Also the delivery date and NOA date are the same making it look like a typo in the NOA date.

You're data mining a bit:) The timeline on VJ is not reliable in statistic terms if not everybody has introduced their dates. The bias in the data makes any analysis worthless.
