Okay, We are Finally(!!!!!) ready to finish the NVC process. The DS- 3032 has been received by the NVC and my husband is paying the fee bill on Tuesday. Only bill my husband has received thus far is the IV bill, but everywhere I look on this forum it appears to me that the AOS fee bill is the 1st one to be generaed from NVC- is this just me or should we contact NVC and request for the AOS fee bill? will it be safe to pay the IV bill first?

Also, we are a little old skool  and will not pay those fee´s online but by mail ( I´m big on online banking, but hubby is not and I´m in europe so....lol.)-

Does any of you guys have experince with the time frame for that to go through?? I assume we can still get the IIN number , so we can see when the status will show "paid" - jus curious :)

Thanks in advance. This forum has been amazingly helpful and if it wasnt for visajourney we would´ve been completely lost trying to navigate through USCIS and NVC :)

My Visa journey:

Married August 10, 2007 in NYC

You can pay the bills as they come available. You should call NVC and speak to someone about not getting the AOS bill. You need to get the AOS bill in order to get the IIN as they will not give you that over the phone.

Hey,

Your IV bill was generated first because they received your DS3230. Generally people get to pay the AOS bill first because they get the DS3230 form along with the AOS bill.....you should be getting the AOS bill in the mail any day now. It is ok to pay IV bill before AOS bill.

About mailing it instead of doing it online, the process time is the same. They will take anywhere from 3 to 7 days to process the fees after they get it. You would, however, lose few days since the mail needs to get to them.... unless you do the overnight delivery.

Hope this helps..

If you get IV bill first and no AOS, call them about it. Maybe someone might give you the IIN then. We've yet to get our physical IV bill papers but we paid both online already. Also sent the packages with their respective cover sheets. This isn't possible without the IIN. Good luck!
