My I130 was approved 12 Feb 2009. What is going to be my next step? I am in the U.S. and my wife in Uruguay. I also submitted a week ago a I129F packet and wonder what i should do. Should I stop I129F (K3) packet? Also, if i go with the CR1. Where the DS 230 would be subitted?

Thanks for your help

Johnny

IF your I-130 has been approved, and you just submitted the I-129F to USCIS, the I-129F will most likely be denied. You should definitely go the CR-1 route, its cheaper, and you won't have to adjust status once you are wife is in the US.

Thank everyone for your response. Got question. These terms: DS-3032, AOS. What are these?

Use the "Immigration Dictionary" on the main forums page. In this context, AOS refers to "affidavit of support", the I-864 form.
