KEMEROVO, February 13 (RIA Novosti) - Police in southwest Siberia are searching for a man who gave a moneylender his 18-month-old child as a guarantee he would repay his debt, a spokeswoman for the local police department said on Friday. Police were called to the village of Yasnaya Polyana in the south of the Kemerovo Region to check reports of an unidentified child who appeared in one of the families. They determined that the family had received the child as a "guarantee" that a debt would be repaid.

"Police found the creditor and the child, but he refused to hand over the toddler, saying that he received him as a guarantee from his debtor and would not return him unless the debt is repaid," the spokeswoman said. "Police had to take the child by force."

The child was taken to a local hospital for medical examination and will be taken to an orphanage. The parents, who are being sought, will most likely lose their parental rights over the child.

Would like to sell my 19 year daughter, but will be just happy if some guy marries and supports her. With my luck, her spouse will be moving in with another mouth to feed.

:bonk:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

This is not typical of 99.99999999999% of Russians. Most likely an alcoholic or from the lowest of the low classes of lowlife.

Not to mention that this is likely one individual lowlife borrowing or lending money to or from another individual lowlife from the same sh*thole village. This is not institutional lending or standard, customary practice in mainstream Russia.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."
