how can i talk to a live operator???

Hi all,

we tried to check our status online since we got our NOA1 last month but it gives us an error message; it's really frustrating :bonk: we tried to call USCIS but we only get to the automated messages, we need to talk to a live operator to be sure that the reciept number is correct; please what number should we call and how can we do it????

Dial these numbers once you call USCIS:

1,3,1,2

That's for changing address. When you get an operator to talk to you, say no about the address and ask about the receipt #.

Note: I googled this and found an old VJ thread. Never did it myself.

thankyou, i'm ready to be on hold as long as i can talk to an operator

I suggest looking over the guide for going through NCIS I think it was Mimche's guide? we have an entire thread where we all put in our tips and suggestions and what worked and didn't.
